Well yet another problem as we all know is that many if not all of these biblical stories are so ambiguous and full of symbolism that anyone can interpret them in any fashion that they wish and no can tell them absolutely that they are wrong. Just as no one can claim that their interpretation is infallibly correct. The only way I can look at any of this is to take it at face value meaning that statement to me sounds like Jesus is saying hey, dont judge your fellow humans! That makes sense to me without having to revamp and redefine it. If it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck and it craps like a duck, most likely Jesus meant don't judge people by that particular sentiment.

Well you know my take on it because I am not Christian. I dont know exactly where my beliefs go as far as what happens after we pass. Unless someone can actually die and then come back and impart to us all what they saw or what occurred, then we have no way of knowing. I dont mean dead for a couple minutes either. I want you dead for near hour and a half before I will respect your interpretation of postmortem events.

Well, didn't die and come back with any answers, got shot all to hell and was just sure i was dying though. Yes, your life will pass in front of you and it is remarkably fast, I do know that I prayed, asked for forgiveness and for God to recieve my soul, felt a strong sense of comfort and warmth after that and the feeling that I would be okay. I was. I had faith before that and that just strengthened it. guess we will have to die to know for sure.

The same applies to the feeling of floating and lights flashing or bright tunnels. So at least in my opinion, you dont have to agree, that is simply not enough evidence to sway me one way or another. Its all explainable by modern science.

I think I must admit that I prefer the Pagan Community. Mainly because I cant recall the last time time I was woken up at 9am on a Saturday morning by a bunch of proselytizing Wiccans..... HAHAHA so true. But I always find it fun to ask the hard questions to the "slave" followers.
