Krimsa, "In english you have your inconsistency." Wouldee, I am not a scholar of the ancient Hebraic text nor did I ever claim I was on this thread. Yet as you acknowledge in English, taken at face value or in literal format, the verse could be construed as contradictory. That was my point. He's like one of those Fabio types. I've heard that Jesus probably looked not even close to what we see him very often portrayed as on Hallmark Christmas cards and what not. He was probably a lot shorter, dark hair, bearded, olive complected. He would have looked like a typical Jewish man of the time because he in fact was a typical Jewish man.

Yeah, thats what they showed on the PBS special I watched. They did a dramatization and had a live actor actually playing him. That is very close though. They re-create all of this through forensic science, much the same way they do with missing persons when they only have a skull and it requires them to reconstruct a face based on the speculated ethnic background, age and gender of the person.
