you dont have to have a drivers license to get a job at most places.... you can take the bus or walk.... then move on to the drivers license

I know that, but it's just difficult finding a job these days.

not if you are actually looking..fast food joints are always hiring and maybe you could"gasp" help mom out with food and expenses.

seems to me you are here to just look for another argument... cause thats all the posts that you reply toogrumble

I came here looking for sympathy, a place to vent really. Evidently I came to the wrong place for that though. grumble
You are a 20 year old unemployed man who lives off of your mother and you came here to complain about her and expected sympathy?

You must be kidding.

For the record, it's my mom and grandma I live with, not just my mom.

Yes, that makes it better.huh

you ignore all but who have said negetive things to you...... there for i think you are here to argue....grumble and i beleive a mother is there when kids are young to teach them all the things they need to survive with on their own... like how to cook clean pay bills etc... to be responsible.. for your mother wont be around all your life... my kids all moved out at age 18.... one had to move back in for a short time...thats what life is all about survival and obviously your mom has failed at teaching you these things cause its not her fault you dont have a drivers license.... its your own damned fault.... find a friend to teach you... find your own ways to do things...

I have no idea, which is why it's probably good that the one possible relationship I have is long distance. Less pressure on me in that way. Or maybe that's worse......

I think some of it is fear, fear of that comfort zone or getting out of it. Fear of driving even, that I won't do good at it, etc.

I've kind of lived a sheltered life really to be honest. My grandma and mom (more my grandma I suppose) babied me and sort of still do to an extent. Insisting on doing dishes, washing clothes and the like, when I ought to be doing those things. I can't learn if I don't. Or saying it's too cold to do this or that too.
