Thanks for the link!

I guess I took lucid dreaming the wrong way. I thought it meant having more control over one's dream. I'm not having bad dreams..exactly. Just bizarre ones. Like kissing someone and they turn into a balloon filled with shampoo. Stuff like that. laugh

I have a couple friends that I'd rather not talk about religion with.

It's practically its own little cottage industry now!

Plus it gives me something to do while I'm waiting for the next "Why Are All Men Pigs?" thread to show up....

That makes sense.
I've noticed that with different scents, too. Rose Otto is a very calming and relaxing scent to me. To my friend, however, it gives her a headache. Just depends on the individual's vibration levels.
....I hope that came out right, lol. My dirty mind immediately went off in another direction after I typed that.
(sidenote: I've been doing a little googling today on quartz crystal and it's fascinating to see all the uses for it in modern technology. It's better for timing than a tuning fork. It alters it's shape slightly when it comes into contact with electricity. If it's compressed or bent, it actually generates voltage.)
I'm gonna have to buy some selenite & see what it will do for me. I'd love it if it could aid in more lucid dreaming. Most of my dreams....I end up waking up thinking wtf?

(edited for spelling)

The occasional night out with friends. The rest goes into savings. I'm saving up for a scooter & a plasma screen tv.

I'm also looking at this chakra wand.

It contains seven common chakra crystals plus a quartz crystal at each end.

I meditate on my chakras in two entirely different ways.

One way is for medicinal and healing purposes. I may use this chakra wand for these meditations and healing rituals.

The other way that I view my chakras are for emotional and spiritual well-being. This is the motivation for building a custom chakra box designed specifically for my emotional and spiritual being.

I like that wand. Saw one like it when I was last in the esoteric shop up in the cities.
I have a wand that I shaped from a fallen branch I found when I was out walking last spring. It's pretty plain. The only thing I added to it was a pointed quartz crystal on the tip.

Beautiful pictures!
What's selenite usually good for enhancing? Can it also be used to help with communication? (runs to look through the book)

That's a great idea, too, on a crystal configuration for the chakras.

The average person does know that not every single member of the opposite sex does whatever the complained about action is of that topic. They are just venting, and I've probably seen as many topics from men asking why women do ____?

The thing I've noticed there's a lot of "oh whoa is me, why am I single, do I suck that bad" threads. Something tells me there's a connection...

I've noticed that, too. Something I read in another thread (a while back, lol) was "The only common denominator in all your failed relationships is you." That phrase comes to mind a lot when I read the "oh woe is me" type of threads. laugh flowerforyou

...use crystals & other stones to augment spells & healing, etc.?

I'm fairly new, and don't know very much about the different stones(and their individual properties) yet. I've mainly been using herbs & EOs these last couple of years. Amethyst, carnelian, quartz crystal, obsidian, and jade are pretty much the only ones I've used so far.
I ran across a book the other day that got me excited about using stones more. It's called "Crystals and healing stones" by Judy Hall.

I'm interested to hear what you do with crystals & stones. Got any favorites?

you are very attracted to a person, he/she is the person of you dreams but married, would you have an affair with them if they are willing?

No, you're only setting yourself up for heartache. Not to mention what you'd be doing to another person's marriage!

The "overly" part seems to say to me that it's too much for someone.

It does depend on compatibility and on mood. Everyone's mood changes.

I hate clingy. If you're clingy and don't understand alone time, move far away from me. Please. NOW! If you are very affectionate, that may be ok. I love affection and am good with lots of it--in private. I don't do well with public displays of affection, if it's too much. Hold my hand and give me a quick kiss hello or good bye, but don't French kiss me in a McDonald's, lol.

I'm romantic and affectionate, but I do get my moments where I just like to be alone and untouched (though not a lot).
