 When you fall fast, can it be considered love, infatuation, or does it depend?

Pure, undiluted infatuation.

 Do you think it is possible to be in love with two people at the same time?

Absolutely.
It's also possible to have sex with them at the same time.....if you get them drunk enough. bigsmile

bigsmile Do you smile and put on a good face around your friends even when you are in pain to avoid burdening them with your problems?bigsmile

All the time, lol! I can't fool my close friends, though. They can always tell when something's up.

 How would you deal with someone who is abusing the kindness you're showing?

If there's no reciprocation & all you're doing is getting worn out and frustrated, the best thing to do is walk away.

I know with my writings that through my publisher they are copyrighted, however, I notice with many pieces of artwork example: Mona Lisa which we all have seen in countless publications. Is there such a thing as copyright applications for an artist's individual pieces?

Diagnostic Criteria for Passive-Aggressive Personality Disorder

A pervasive pattern of passive resistance to demands for adequate social and occupational performance, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by at least five of the following:

1. Procrastinates, i.e., puts off things that need to be done so that deadlines are not met.

2. Becomes sulky, irritable, or argumentative when asked to do something he or she does not want to do.

3. Seems to work deliberately slowly or to do a bad job on tasks that he or she really does not want to do.

4. Protests, without justification, that others make unreasonable demands on him or her.

5. Avoids obligations by claiming to have "forgotten".

6. Believes that he or she is doing a much better job than others think he or she is doing.

7. Resents useful suggestions from others concerning how he or she could be more productive.

8. Obstructs the efforts of others by failing to do his or her share of the work.

9. Unreasonably criticizes or scorns people in positions of authority.

Aren't we all guilty of being passive-aggressive at one point or another in our lives?? I know I've done it.

Ok, after reading everyone else's posts on this topic, I'm wondering if either I don't know what passive-aggressive means or if I'm one of those weird, abused people with a low self-esteem. laugh
Ok, here's what I've done that I think was passive-aggressive. When the hubby & I used to fight, at one point during the argument I'd just stop talking. My "oh f*** it" switch got flipped. I'd go cold and silent for a while.
Passive-aggressive??

 Have you ever disassociated yoursef from a family member because of their choices?

Temporarily. When sis was pregnant, she said some pretty nasty crap to everyone in the family. I just figured it was the hormones. (No way can I believe that she actually meant the stuff she said.) But yeah, I took a step back. Didn't want to get caught up in it and say something I'D regret, lol. Once her hormone levels evened out, we started talking again.

This may not sound very romantic, but I had a great time when my date & I decided to go fishing. We packed a lunch and spent a very peaceful afternoon sitting on the river bank talking and fishing.

I start distancing myself from them. Not much else I can do, I guess.
