although that said.. my reno's are still at the plastering stage.. got a whole basement to do.. then put in the ceiling.. THEN paint.. phew.. I'm exhausted just thinking about it LOL

it's reasons like this that MAY make an older woman want a younger man.. cynicism does NOT look good on anyone!

in my experience.. negativity attracts negative people and opinions..
having dated men from different age groups.. I've discovered men my age or slightly younger are a good fit.. that said.. it's not set in stone.. I'd be attracted to a man that had a character similar to mine.. regardless of his age.. but within reason (in other words.. not looking for a 35 year old.. OR to be someone's mommy! )

plus.. I was NEVER mommy's lil princess.. I was more Daddy's lil tomboy

I concur soufie!! life was simpler back in the 'day'.. when Just say HI was more user friendly.. meaning there were fewer if no scammers.. so responding was easier.. I'd always reply to an email.. even one containing a simple "hi.." just cuz, IMO.. no one should be ignored.. or they were just shy, not knowing what to say..

today however.. online dating site users are more scammer driven, sadly, which makes it difficult to know who is real and who isn't.. therefore, less people are inclined to respond to random emails..

all boils down to belief's and character!

being Canadian, we share the same holiday as Mikey does.. Nov.11th but I DO appreciate another long 4 day weekend (I work for a US company WOOT)!! We had Victoria day's weekend just last week so 2 - 4 day weekends in a row is AWEsome!

yup.. still alive!! although last week I would've told ya I was dying stupid me.. went to the doctors on the Monday and got a CLEAN bill of health.. Tuesday night I was as a pooch on grass.. oye.. slept 2 days straight.. suffice ta say I didn't get any work done.. oh well.. happens to the best of us huh.. mind you.. I'm thinkin I'll NOT go back to the doctors unless ABsoLUTEly necessary!!! OR.. I'm wearing a hazmat suit
