My daughter has attempted suicide on numerous occasions. It is extremely painful as a parent to go through; and honestly the last thing I spent my time thinking about during those times is boyfriends. I concentrated on my child.

Don't push it. If you upset the mom, you'll likely upset her as well. Let it be her call. she said if she could get away from her mom she would be with me... so i know she wants to be with me she just cant whle living under her moms roof.... Get jobs . . . move out . . . Happy ending. let her go. you can't make someone want to be with you. if she really decides she has to be with you believe me, it will happen. if not, you cannot happily be with her. i think this went off the original purpose of this thing i was looking for what to do about her mom so that me and her can see each other sooner than when i get my own place... or she gets her own place. Well only other thing to do, is send a card and some flowers to her mom asking for her to give you a chance to show that you are worthy of her wonderful daughter. Or if you think that is cheese (I have done it, it works by the way . . most grown women like cheese) Then just send a letter. Or , you could just respect their wishes and get on with your life.

You know I have your freinds what do you need fixed. Think all I want to do is fix your stuff. I am not even going to go there that was just full of bitterness...makes me sad but more and more men are like this... What because it's true. this lady I know so called freind calls me all the time wanting home repair. And sometimes it is just plain BS. It is not going anywhere so whats the point. Cant' you just help someone out just to be nice?

How would you all feel if the accident was caused from them drinking and driving, being doped up or street racing? I don't date people who do that kind of thing. I don,t either ,but what if they stopped off somewhere with out your knowledge and drank more then they intended? I don't date people who drink. Period.

I don't think you can expect an 18 year old girl to settle down anyway. She should be out with her friends; not hanging out with a boyfriend.

I am guilty. If I don't find them attractive or decent looking. I might talk to them. But I wouldn't want to date them. the problem with picking people for their looks is that you don't necessarily end up with the best people. You can find yourself continually dating a string of losers and cheaters if you go by looks alone.
