You know we talk about a lot of spiritual things on here and our differences - but what is really important to you in your daily life? what is it you want out of life - your goals or desires, or dreams? the here and now - not what may or maybe afterwords. anyone? I wish to be present for my little girl, Savannah. Some days I'm just so numbed out from the constant motion of the day's conscious gobble-de-goop that I come home a bit zombified. It takes almost the whole evening to land (so to speak) and its already her bedtime. My favorite time is when I get to read to her and curl up with her while she drifts off to sleep. Her crib has been modified into a toddler bed (open on the side). I often awaken to a falling sensation as I smack down on the floor. She's growing so fast! now thats what i'm talking about -

Plus, if the "alien god" has a dollar for miscellaneous baby teeth, then he is real enough. Humans fear death. If you can provide them with the hope of eternal life (no matter how irrational) they will cling, thus the lint fairy will suffice. Its positive reinforcement. ah - religious duct tape huh? |

love and fellowship among man. no segregation according to religion, race, creed. intelligent and critical thought, without having been brainwashed with the irrational fear of burning in hell for it. or willfully remaining ignorant of something becaus it conflicts with religious dogma. the advancement of technology and knowledge, through science, for the betterment of society and eradication of suffering as much as possible. this would mean not simply accepting disease as god's will for original sin, or the work of satan, but actively attempting to fight it as was done with smallpox. genetically modifying crops to produce more food to eradicate hunger etc etc. i want a world where morals are based on treating our fellow man with kindness, dignity and empathy. so in other words you hate everybody and want the world to end - 
all kiddidng aside, those are good answers, any thoughts on your own wants/needs/desires/wishes? |

That guy is one hell of a salesman....
If you really think so then you have been fooled. Kevin Trudeau is full of bull. all "salesmen" are full of bull, sales is the art of bull---T, and people that can sell things they themselves don't even believe in - are concidered the best among their peers. Trudeau is a lightweight compared to the bush administration and all his cronies, Govmnt - holds the golden title of salespeople of the century. Its not just the government. It is the media. The propaganda in the media (controlled mostly by the world banking system and rich zionists.) They are the salesmen. "con"-spiricies are just that i agree,the media plays a major roll in dishing out a one sided and off track reporting of what the truth is - i find it intersting that many movies that come out are usually followed by real life incedent's - who do you thinks behind that scenario and why? |

then i'll have to leave it to others, in my readings of preterist views which make way more sense than scofields mooy's and darbys lies, all that was spoken of in revelations and by the prophets was fullfilled in AD 70, the church of christ reigns on earth now, there is no armeggedon - never was, in the fundie sense, the last judgement, [if it occurs at all] is thousands of years off, and i'm not concerened with it.
The only thing the church has to look forward to is is leading a christlike life here and now and then death and heaven acoording to my beliefs, there are no xtra goodies waiting for anyone. THat said - i do think there maybe other scenarios where there is potential for the earth not lasting that long brought about by natural disaters, but they have nothing to do with god or the book. fairy tail vs reality - ? the earth will eventually be destroyed by natural causes aided by mans stupidity. |

it insures there won't be another war for jesus here on earth - only one is talked of not many. . "Tribo" either you are now contradicting yourself or you must have realized your mistake ... because either "Josephus" made an accurate prophecy or he didn't ..and since according to "Revelations" Jesus will be there at armageddon which is supposely a war that will take place here on Earth either proves "Josephus" prophecy as being inaccurate or that "Revelations" is inaccurate ...so ...er... which is it? ahh - the preterist also christians beleive armegeddon took place in AD 70 and also the rapture, not all believers hold to this future coming of christ, thats where i beleive the evangelicals are wrong. not a contradiction on my part, just a look at another held beliefs within the christian community. google preterist.com to see this held view. As far as the evang and fundies go - their scenario is a rapture then jesus destroys the earth and makes a new one and then all the saved people come and regn with christ on earth - they dont go to heaven, for at least a thousand yrs [in my opninon they never go to heaven.] either way i know nothing of a battle between believers and demons/ fallen angels. |

show me where he "unmade" the fallen angels? it say's he cast them out of heaven, jesus said he saw satan fall from heaven - so wheres the "unmaking" your speaking of? Why is satan called the "god" of "this world"? if they could be "unmade" why didn't god do or say so? you can't detroy matter - god knows that - therefore the most he could do is was not allow them in his presence anymore. - thus the "expulsion". The "nephelim" were the offspring of the fallen angels and humans - thet were flesh and blood, therefore killed in the flood supposedly. But not the angels themselves. "Tribo" once God kicked the angels out of Heaven they were no longer angels only spirits they were therefore "unmade" either way killed or unmade or whatever...the point is that they are no longer in Heaven and will need to be replaced for the war with Jesus angels were always spirit from day one, but ike jesus they could take on a body, thats how they mated with earth women. but they are spirit always. i didn't say there would be no more wars - i was talking of the war with jesus you mentioned, i assure you if i somehow were to end up there - there would be at least one more war!! "Tribo"...Josephus seeing fighting chariots in the sky probably explains why the roman empire fell ..surely the effects of drinking water from those Lead-lined aquaducts must have played a part either way his account/hallucination wouldn't ensure that there won't be another war with Jesus it insures there won't be another war for jesus here on earth - only one is talked of not many. if there is others after earth your correct i you or josephus would not know nor do i care. |
