Goodness! What a complete load of crap!

The semantic and justifying, and the illusion of erudicy is fascinating.... but then again so is lunacy....

No wonder there are so many people , globally depressed.... this whole patriarchal propaganda spread a long way... and caused unknown amounts of inherited guilt.

And some almost appear to be intelligent....

Profoundly saddening.

so quintessentially put my lady, the apparent cognizance of any belief's lead to such. but beliefs are a part of humanity and we will never rid ourselves of them - do you have a solution for this problem? if not - are you just spouting off? -

yes....wake up!!!!

See the emotionally bereft societies we inhabit... see the complete and total focus of the ego, step away from both the patriarchal and the feminist mindsets.... remember that quintessentially we are born perfect, and unfortunately only after exposure to the rot of these cultures and societies, and an apparent imitation in behaviours of these societies, are we accepted.

WAKE UP to what is broken, stand up to what we know is inheritly harmful to all... and move past it into the perfection we once inhabited as babies..

Ask SAYS WHO? HOW COME? WHY?

ask ...question, discover the inherant wisdom again...

would the teacher of 6.4 bilion people show them the way?? would you take on this challenge?

I already did... and am.... as are so many others that I know.... working from ground zero up.... medical, education, state and local and federal government, sciences, (both social and the other one:wink: )...

As parents, mentors, carers, guardians.... one person at a time..and slowly, slowly the exponential is happening.

And no one teacher... we are all teachers and students... the whole mentality of figure head is what got us into the sh*te to start with.

read my edited post above -

history shows even when many teach or prech it changes nothing and just leads back to a leader type institution again - lived thru the 60-70 been there done that - and now look - it did no good at all!!
hippies love children, and flower people, makes no diff. now the hippies are yuppies and leaders of the nation, good luck with that. one thing i know for sure is history repeats itself. we either learn or we don't.

the new religion of no religion?

no matter what you do my dear it is just another mind set, it disposes of nothing only changes a previously held mind set at most - and who's to say we'd be any better off if we did as you say???

These threads remind me of soup kitchens....

The impoverished after a time decide that they are ENTITLED to a free lunch...they are the experts on the meal, and are quite indignant if the menu changes, or the cabbage is missing one day....

The sense of ownership and the self importance attached to the proprietous thinking is the same.... and you all want this free lunch... for doing nothing... well, actually, doing something...staying impoverished... and condemning others that point out that fact, or who may want, or are perceived to want, to muscle in on the free lunch or even (thread space).

Sadly those that spend their time greedily claiming to know all about anything are so delusional, that the very spirit of the original prophets of all religion is lost...

ohwell

And some wonder why the US is on it's knees right now...

the US is on it's knee's right now because of selfishness!! which puts forth the facects of selfishness as greed and self-centeredness.

I am sorry my friend but I will have to disagree with you on that. Native Americans are not selfish and they are the true Americans. They are not self centered either at least the ones I met

thats not a dis-agrement - thats a perspective - tongue2

i did not say americans - i said U.S. meaning those who came and stole america from the original inhabitants - tongue2

whether USA or europeans, there motivation is selfishness/self-centeredness. welcome to the world of "ME"

hi BB - everyone who is was or will be saved is saved by faith. so those who had lived prior to jesus lived by faith in what god had said and commanded - those who did not were not saved
[ saved meaning going to heaven or being in gods eternal presence] or what ever else is espoused in C theology.

of course people dont like to here this because it seems unfair, but i'm only telling what is believed. the only thing that changed to any degree after christ was then it became the age of grace [grace meaning gods free gift of salvation to all who beleived in and on christ sacrifice and payment for all mankinds sins forever]

in the OT it was by faith in who god was and what he said as to being saved it was a gift also but not of sacrificial means, both OT and NT require faith but in the OT there was no eternal gift of grace.

when jesus came and died grace abounded, before it was felt by the OT people that it was absolutely necessary to follow the law, law was a teacher in the sense of showing man its impossible to obey the law - even the scribes and pharisees could not obey them perfectly. but those who understood the spirit of the law -[thou shalt love thy god and love thy neighbor as thyself] did fullfill the spirit of the law and by that means were saved. jesus reiterated this by saying the laws of god and the prophets were all contained in those two commandments i mention. but jesus lightened the burden by offering up himself as a sacrifice for everyone that would believe on him as the son of god, savior, and sacrifice for their sins. he did not abolish the law, its just now believers are not condemned by the law. they are seen as being in christ and god can only see christ not us as to our salvation.

bottom line by faith everyone in heaven is saved and also here on earth. through grace.

Well my personal feeling on disciplinary action taken against children (I have three nephews and a niece) is that spanking is permissable.

Stoning to death a child for taking the lord's name in vain or for cursing their father or mother is overboard.

well i will agrfee with that entirely and the bible is full of innocent bloodshed.

Jesus himself....
I dont belive Jesus wants to see innocent bloodshed.

i wouldnt stone my child for any reason..but i certainly think my eldest needs her mouth washed with soap occasionally (although I wouldnt do that either)

try johnson and johnsons new cherry flavored mouth soap!!bigsmile

Well do all plant seeds have faith? what kind of faith would they have?

do seeds have cognizance? do they even understand what faith is?

why does jesus use this term?

OMG He was referring to the size of the seed; NOT the seed having faith, or not....dude

i cam't unnerstan yu??

20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have >>>>faith as a grain of mustard seed<<<<, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

well here it says if i have the faith of a mustard seed - correct? so what would that have to do with the size?? evidentally size doesn't matter - bigsmile

BUTT!! it says that it has faith?? faith enough that if i had that much i could move mountains? well - how much faith is that? how can i ever tell how much faith a seed has? and has a seed ever moved a mountain? can seeds talk as jesus states?
