"write the songs
of our lives.. in sand dunes... " That is an exquisite image - placing such immense value on experience that it matters more that it existed than that it was marked in history. Impressively honed. |

"it is winter

"Love,.... permeates ....radiates....bears witness..."
You describe so aptly an energy greater than any dark force that resists it - and all we have to "do" is be open to it. Gently marvellous! |

It is a wise soul who realizes that the space that silence affords can be a "blessing in disguise".
May we all come to the stillness of such wisdom. Excellent - yet again - my girl!! |

"..but I will not
leave her destitute; I will give the Love I can.." Serving love from a plate where none was first given is the miracle of forgiveness; it is the action of a heart drawing from the well of the goodness at the core of the Universe rather than from the well of one's history. It halts the progress of un-love what was visited upon us and makes redemption possible. You remind us that our call in each life is - above all - to love. |

"you may weep inside if
your mother was away" Orphancy - that we will outlive our parents - is our common expectation. You have painted in pain the realization of some of us that we were always "motherless". Blessing on those of us who thrived despite that absence. I also hear your call to nurture life around us. (You continue to amaze, my girl ) |

Very charming tribute to the energy released by simply being witness to love.
I remember times in my life when I awoke with a smile for just this very reason. Very nice. |

So few see beyond their "eyes"; you are blessed in that you see through the eyes of Spirit. That makes you a Blessing among us.

We can weather the ravaging assaults of the unworthy when we continue to expose our battered hearts and souls to the imminent warmth of light.
That you did not recoil from the affront is a tribute to your character and the trueness of your essence. Bless you! |

"Both closed and open
Hard and soft" You have quite well expressed the dichotomy of how one must step into the flow of love. |

Mooning
A dozen moons have come and gone, coursed my sky since you have gone, your moonkissed shadow too is gone and I now gleam alone. And words that swirled a twirling dance, a lilting and seducing dance, a fingertipping touching dance elude a silent phone. Now eyes have dried from endless tears, heart's flesh has healed from raking tears, and from my thoughts you I must tear; pain's garden's overgrown. A new moon smiles up in the sky, marks time's journey in my sky, I again look at Earth's Mother's sky and claim it as my own. LCA August 6, 2008 |

Wildering
The world sees this shadowed pulse, a paean to graced and poised reserve, belying the wilding beat of heart and keening of silently jarred nerve. LCA January 2008 |
