Winds of Change Let the winds of change blow over my memory, dulling the edges that grazed unto drawing blood, dousing the fires that burned low after scarring, leaving only the new growth of cool clean skin that never knew your touch. LCA 7/13/2008 |

When you reach out unto the world from the core of existence that IS love, you are never ever wrong, even if pain results from attempting to love one who loves perversely; love is the source of all that is good and you are safe and will thrive within it.
Enjoy your journey |

"late century dreams are fading
it's catching up and i'm falling behind" A rich image redolent of Marvell's "time's wingéd chariot". Stark, simple - I like it. |

Very beguiling parallelism in these lines:
"listen to my Soul Love, listen to my Soul,Love." Marvellous measuring of this mystery called love |

Sometimes, we cannot help others find freedom from bonds they chose for themselves; we can only release them to be free - or not.

Jam on My Toast
|
|
Jam on my toast, made by my love
from his home far away on an old autumn day. Fruit picked with care, and sweetened with smiles, his words in my ear as the juice bubbled clear. Knock on my door, a man with the mail, bringing love's Mass in jam jars of glass. Love on my lips, smiles in my heart, miles disappear; love lives right here. But the season has passed; his love is now gone and the spoon that I am lifts his taste in his jam. LCA 2008 |

"This, this,
This, transference of power... This, leap from the safety ...." Frustration, impatience, disbelief, fear.....all echoed in the power of this structure you have honed; a finely sculpted image. |

Such a perceptive comment on a genuinely talented poet, Wolfeyes; you are a very generous soul to see the gift we ALL share by seeing our own experience of humanity described in another's words. I share your admiration.

"So close to memory
I ask if I am dreaming." How that reminds me of the rising from sweet sleep to the reality of an unshared space. You have captured the colour of love, painting loss in tender tones. |

Wonderfully resonant of the warmth of love on a cold night. Reminding me of the beautiful song "Song for a Winter's Night" sung by Sarah MacLachlan:

A wondrous reassurance that the energy of love is never wasted; it draws love back unto itself in the fullness of time. Flowers and hearts to you :)
