Sod, wood, dirt, and concrete..
not to mention some cobblestone.
Many trips down a slow street,
looking to an end unknown..

Perilous seeming; the awaiting fate..
for years the blackened view it clouded
out the mind. Following sordid bait
to places in which it crowded.

Jusified by bitter memories,
delving into like pursuits.
Feeling blank, numb extremities
dangling from dirty suits.

To a slient place among the trees,
a pause for the cause(if you will).
Birdwatching aloud(so you please),
Reminiscent o'er the long dead quill.

A lady in waiting..she softly spoke,
though her words were forgetable.
By her actions a dead heart awoke.
The place? A blur..how regretable!

T'would like to see her rewarded,
and surely she has been..
Motives such are never thwarted,
and sadly, rarely seen.
