A calling, ahh..it surely rings,
with temptation easing in.
Ever so delicately, she flings
long tresses, a lolling sin.

Fluid movements of studied care,
approaching with purpose..
Timeless passion was spent here,
surely one could propose.

A perfect match, she plays to win,
yet, no sweat arises.
Odds on money, displays the gin,
she already prizes.

Twas' oe'r well before the flip
my lad, any twit should see..
Entranced by swaying hip,
so sad, but surely meant to be.

Bow low, to who dealt the blow,
for victory, she earned it.
Lest those who know ebb the flo,
of a fool that spurned wit.

Morning grazers awake,
the light at dawn beckons.
A single audible quake,
as the engine reckons.

Hay ready for harvest,
the heifers hopefully stare.
Thinking, "marvelous,
we shall soon be there".

The first field to cut,
Sadly ,the last as well.
The bucks are full in rut,
and they too can tell.

In summer it's off limits,
if legs you've more than two.
Yet, it's tough times summit,
this truth, an aged few knew.

Tis' time to stock up,
for autumn and beyond.
This field is winters sup,
right next to the pond.
