Excuse me, I forgot to address the above. Millette found the same Red-Grey chips to be merely a layer of rust preventer (red) under a coat of primer (grey). Logical really. Think about it for a moment. Painting on a coat of thermite will do very little in order to destroy a long-span open plan building. It would be a nice flash though. Furthermore, Thermite is not an explosive (someone should tell AE911T), it is often used as a cutting agent, but it is not an explosive in the true sense. Remember, 9/11 truth only chose Thermite because there were no obvious demolition explosions. Then a truther scientist went looking for it and claims he found it painted on? Applied however long ago? How did it survive the fires for over an hour? Hush-A-Boom, Noiseless, Fire-Resistant Explosives. It's getting silly. The MVA study puts all this stupidity to bed, at last. |

If you did you wouldn't need to respond in said fashion, nor would you need to resort to an argument from authority. 1) So, you do know I hope that all thermitic reactions leave traces of elemental aluminium (Metalwing, I would like your professional opinion on this)? Why did Jones, Harritt & Farrer fail to find any? 2) Why could they not verify the source of the dust used in their study? Such an error is poor control methodology. 3) Why could they not get their hypothesis published in a credible journal and had to use the Benthem outlet to gain circulation of their tenuous hypothesis? 4) The editor of the Bentham paper was sacked over the subsequent 'pay for print' scandal. 5) Harritt and Jones have not had their findings peer reviewed unlike the AE911T claim. That is just a lie. 6) The International Skeptics Foundation raised funds for an independent study conducted by Dr. James Millette at MVA Scientific Consultants. 7) Their samples proved NOT be evidence for a thermitic reaction, but simply the iron micro-spheres which were the product of the fires; the elevator braking mechanisms; the traffic outside the WTC etc. Iron-Rich microspheres are common in daily life and may not be the result of some nefarious campaign to illogically destroy 10 buildings and four airliners in order to press public opinion for a campaign in Afghanistan. One must accommodate the logical hypothesis before jumping to an irrational conclusion. The Millette study is still under debate, but it looks like MVA found paint chips and brake dust instead of the thermitic residue that Jones/Harrit/Farrer claimed they found. Furthermore, the MVA study had a wider variety of authenticated samples for their tests. At this stage, it's not looking good for Harritt either. A Danish journalist labelled Harritt a crank based upon his beliefs regarding 9/11. Harritt sued and lost. A court recognises that Harritt is a crank. What more would like? |

well maybe you should try reading the "gish gallop of mined quotes", for if you read them, it will all make sense to you as to why 9/11 was perpetrated. No, sorry, I don't bother with quote mining as I have to check every one for its original context and that is boring. Now, to the video in the op. The author is a competent rhetorician and employs emotive adjectives liberally in order to manipulate the audience-a clear indicator of editorial bias and that needs to be kept in mind throughout the viewing of this film.
15) This point is basically an argument from incredulity. The funding allocation has nothing to do with the outcome and this is the expected result of the tactic. This tactic is a Red Herring. Although many of the commissioners expressed their apprehension over the funding early on, upon conclusion they stated that they were pleased with the results of the commission and that they had achieved their aims. 13) The accounts of people being hindered from leaving the tower are just fantastic, and his transcript doesn't really have much to say on this and it is based on hearsay. As many know, I'm quite aware of most of the canards presented by 9/11 truth and this one hasn't surfaced until recently. I'm sure this is a misinterpretation of the rescue crews trying to keep the evacuation orderly. I will look further into this one. 14) This one is weird. When I saw it I thought WTF? Anyway, it is more innuendo and it actually misrepresents the evidence in one point. The author appears to be trying to imply that the First responders were 'playing' at being survivors (thus expecting the viewer to assume there were no survivors) when in actual fact, they had to train the dogs on site to find survivors as the dogs had never encountered such a scenario. I find this one strange. 13) Another weird one. The artist? This is just a coincidence and has no bearing on the events of the day. I don't even know why the author included this one. Again, strange. 12) PNAP. This is merely 'joining the dots' and there is no supporting evidence to suggest collusion in some nefarious plot. Another Red Herring and misrepresentation by innuendo. 11) The 9/11 Commission. See above (15) to address much of this, however, it is strange that he argues from incredulity that the 9/11 commission report didn't say anything about 7WTC. It wasn't meant to. The 9/11 commission was charged with finding out how the attack occurred, not how the buildings fell-that was the mission of the NIST report. Again, weird. That's up to about the 5:00 minute mark. A fire without fuel doesn't burn hotter. The more fuel there is to burn the longer and hotter it will burn IF it's still getting oxygen. Basic fire safety teaches that type D extinguishers are the only ones that work for burning metal. Even with coal oak and bellows a blacksmith only gets iron or steel glowing to increase maleability, not liquid. that seems logical... the difference is that WTCs still had 20-30 floors above where the planes hit, so the steel didn't have to melt, just weaken... then gravity/weight of the upper floors does the rest and don't forget, the WTC's were designed with exo-skeleton, and the planes took out 1 of 4 sides of that, making it weak at the very start... there's quite a few videos that show the steel on the outside bowing with the weight before it pancaked... Correct, the bowing effect was caused by the floors. The heat caused the floor trusses to sag, and that 'pulled in' the outer shell. It is clear in a video just prior to the collapse. |

If this was the case, Bin Laden would have surely considered the books to be utter nonsense. It is of course, possible that the reading list is a complete fabrication, among with much of the Bin Laden story line to date.
