There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind.

She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her.

She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.'

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.

He asked her,'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?'

The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that.

The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.

Her boyfriend left her in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.'

'and if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the river, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. BUT AS FOR ME & MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD.' Joshua 24:15

Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I have been with a loose girl'

The priest asks, 'Is that you, little Joey Parisi ?'

"Yes, Father, it is.'

'And who was the girl you were with?'

'I can't tell you, Father, I don't want to ruin her reputation.'

Well, Joey, I'm sure to find out her name sooner or later, so you may as
well tell me now. Was it Tina Minetti?'

'I cannot say.'

'Was it Teresa Maroney?'

'I'll never tell.'

'Was it Nina Capelli?'

I'm sorry, but I cannot name her.'

'Was it Cathy Sorovich?'

'My lips are sealed.'

'Was it Rosa Di Angelo, then?'

'Please, Father, I cannot tell you.'

The priest sighs in frustration. "You're very tight lipped, Joey Parisi,
and I admire that. But you've sinned and have to atone. You cannot be an
altar boy now for 4 months. Now you go and behave yourself."

Joey walks back to his pew, and his friend Bobby slides over and
whispers, 'What'd you get?'

'4 months vacation and five good leads.'

Well .. do you? In the magic of love? .... Talk to me

Do you believe in magic?
In a young girls heart
How the music can free her
whenever it starts

And it's magic
if the music is groovy
It makes you feel happy like an old time movie

I'll tell ya about the magic
It'll free your soul
but it's like trying to tell a stranger 'bout rock n roll

If you believe in magic, don't bother to choose
If it's jug band music or rhythm and blues
Just go and listen
It'll start with a smile
It won't wipe off your face no matter how hard you try
Your feet start tapping
And you can't seem to find
How you got there
So just blow your mind

If you believe in magic
Come along with me
We'll dance until morning, just you and me
and maybe, if the music is right
I'll meet ya tomorrow
so late at night

We'll go a dancin' baby then you'll see
all the magic's in the music and the music's in me, yeah

Do you belive in magic? Yeah.
Believe in the magic in a young girl's soul
believe in the magic of rock n roll
Believe in the magic that can set you free
Ohhhh, talkin' bout magic

Do you believe like I believe?
Do you believe in magic?
[repeat]

John Sebestain & the Lovin Spoonful...hummm...I thought I was the only one old enough to remember that one.lol
I am a 'firm' believer in the magic of love. The kind that hits you like a frieght train when you first look into her eyes. Then you feel like a Mack truck runs over you when she speaks.(Gosh, I'm into heavy hitting tonight) And then when you try to come up with the right impressive line, all that comes out is dah, uh, uh, hummm, etc. Oh, yea, I believe in magic but it's like trying to tell a stranger bout rock n roll.
But how does that work on the receiving end? Can the other person pick up on it?

Tommi, I don't know if your just trying to spread propaganda or really believe what your saying but your way off. That's about the most polite way I can say it.

His father died in a traffic accident in 1982 in Kenya. Was he plotting with those evil terrorist way back then???

Cmon man, use some common sense!mad

Steve, forgive me for 'stepping on your toes' but I'm relating to actual facts found on wikipedia. Although it may be propaganda or yours may be propaganda, the fact remains that he took an oath of office on the Quran, when all other public officers have taken oaths on the bible. and even though his father passed on during the 89's doesn't negate him from being associated with Al quada. BUt the choice is yours & if you vote please exercise that right.

Tomie,

When you claim to be '... relating to actual facts found on wikipedia...', which exact segments of wikepedia are you referring to? No such referrence is found on the Barrack Obama page.

Would you therefore be good enough to give us the exact links which bear such 'actual facts'.

In my reading of the Barrack Obama page on Wikipedia, I found no such information as that which you claim:
- '... doesn't negate him from being ...', or
- '... first to take oath of office on the Qur'an...', or
- '... his father passing on during the 89's...', he actually passed away in 1982.

Furthermore, should you find NEW information FROM RELIABLE SOURCES, which might suggest ...
... that his Dad passed away '... during the 89's...', and not in 1982, as his death certificate claims,
... that Al-Qaeda was founded before it's known official fondation of 1988,
... and that the first and ONLY person to have taken oath of office is someone else than Keith Ellison, a Minnesota congressman,

... your so called '... actual facts...' allegedly '... found on Wikepedia...'

... are highly suspect, and should for now be treated as the 'urban legends', falsehoods, and totally unfounded calumnous statements that they are.

Check the reliability (credibility), and integrity (virtuous motives), of your sources people!!!

Believing anything and everything one hears or reads, doesn't make for a very healthy democratic process!

You are so right, Voil and I stand corrected. I am wrong in assuming the information I obtained was correct without researching it. That is very foolish of me & I so apologize for it. In fact, I now have very favorable views on Obama but haven't yet decided on who gets my vote. Voil, you have taught me a very valuable lesson. Thank you & I ask forgiveness from all I have offended.

I don't know where you got your info, but you are flat wrong. You can debate spirituality and government till you are blue in the face, but Obama is NOT Muslim. He is in fact a Christian. You can see information on this on his official website:
http://www.barackobama.com/factcheck/2007/11/12/obama_has_never_been_a_muslim_1.php#obama-on-emails

Obama recently joined a Church of Christ to improve his image. He was one of the first to swear his appointed office on the Quran. His dad, who only had him for a short time in his life, is linked to the terrorist responsible for the attacks of 9/11 but it's your vote & your choice.

***EDIT*** No attacking, Markecephus ~ forum moderator
Untruth Untruth Untruth

I am from Minnesota and the first and only man to swear in on the Quran was Keith Ellison. He did it on Thomas Jefferson's Quran. Thats because here in Minnesota we judge a person by ability.

LOL...having a little trouble controlling the smallest member of your body, your tongue? I don't think you qualify to represent Minnesota. The problem IS your judging. You attack Christianity unmercifully and their view points disregarding their abilites. Oh, I own a Torah but it doesn't make me Jewish.

obama gets my vote, he's a great man and this country was founded on freedom of religion. look at Bush straight up christian right? So whats the death toll now after his 8 years? not to mention the price of living.

It's not the Religion, it's The man, 8 years of a coked up douche and this country can't take any more.

The death toll in Iraq is far less than the death toll on American highways in one year. Would you rather we fight terrorism on our land?

i agree with all of you, and i apologize if i came across as saying christians are the only ones feeling it...that has just been my experience...but hopefully god is talking to those that don't know him yet too. Whether you agree with me or not i do ask that God speaks to everyone out there right now and i beleive he is doing so. We just need to to learn to listen. No i'm not saying you need to convert right now, that is between god and you. But if anyone wanted to talk about anything you can always email me :) i promise not to shove the bible down your throat.

Hey Issac, It's highly commendable of you to offer yourself to those who are huring & going through difficult times. That's exactly what people need; having someone to vent to. Many are lonely & hurt and loneliness has been detected to be the root cause of 90% of all issues. So, thank you so much for offering your ear to those that need to talk. You're a good man for this.

the original question doesn't ask why God is magnificent to you.. the original question ask if the universe didn't pop out of nothingness and had to have been created does that same logic applies to the creator and if the answer is "NO" then explain "WHY NOT" with a rational explanation

if the universe didn't pop out of nothingness and had to have been created does that same logic apply to the creator?

answer no

and if the answer is "NO" then explain "WHY NOT" with a rational explanation

no that same logic does not have to apply to the creator regardless of how the universe was created.

..er.. "imageorgiagirl" ..you forgot to explain rationally "WHY NOT"

Funches, if it were explained to you in a rational way, would you believe?

interesting question. Hard for me to say because i have someone to pray/talk to. I bet ya some "nonbelievers" have a word with someone when the stuff hits the fan whether they admit it or not. i have no kids so i cannot imagine that senario but as for me dying, don't care, never did, never will. it might be the coolest thing ever. nobody knows. as for someone else dying no matter how close, it never bothered me. I dont know why, dont know if it is weird but for some reason even when i was a kid i knew everyone is going to die.

I have to agree with you, viperkiss. There is no doubt we are all going to die one day. It is the cycle of life. And when the 'stuff hits the fan' we'll know then who was right or who wasn't. I would rather be on the safe side. How about you?

If we're going parallel deities, then not all the 'vicious dogs' attacked, only the ones that didn't have faith in the master.

yes and this faith also cause some of the dogs to do nothing to stop the attack because they had faith that it was all part of the insane breeder's divine plan that his son be attacked

It was their choice not their faith funches, You should know the feeling.

to save the dogs from themselves. Surely, in the presence of such an obvious example, a teacher sent by their master, the dogs would be humbled and would learn to reject their monstrous ways. But in his heart the breeder knew this would not happen. He knew the dogs would kill his son. And they did. The dogs ripped away the young man's clothing and tore him to bloody pieces.

but "yzrabbit" the young son had the "Free Will" to make the decision not to get ripped to threads and those dogs have the "Free Will" to not rip the insane breeder's young son to threads so it is not the insane breeders fault ...no court on Earth would convict the insane breeder of any wrong doing ..besides the courts know that the insane breeder has already brought his son back to life to kill all the dogs during the armageddon dog show hosted by Michael Vick

Actually that doesnt make since. His will has nothing to do with whether the dogs attack him or not. The dogs don't actually have free will because they dont really reason and make a decision. They act mainly on instinct.

not all dogs act mainly on instinct depending how they were trained or the enviroment they are place in so the insane breeder knew that the dogs was vicious because he create the entire situtation that turned the dogs vicious and then blamed the dogs for being vicious..so the insane breeder being all-knowing about the situtaion decided to send his young son into a vicious situation knowing that the dogs are vicious and would attack the son and during the attack did nothing to intervene

If we're going parallel deities, then not all the 'vicious dogs' attacked, only the ones that didn't have faith in the master.
