Love a good fight and make up laugh

Wonder if Roddy Piper is the same Rowdy Roddy Piper from WWF fame. Looks a bit young though.

Sounds like the shrinkwrap has come off and the honeymoon period is well and truly over and you're seeing her in her true light.

Not much you can do if she won't talk to you and insisting nothings wrong.

Stick with it until you feel ready to throw in the towel or until she opens up and the situation gets better.

Not that I’m an authority on these types of things but the unanswered texts speak for themselves I’m afraid. She may contact you again or she may not.

Personally, if it were me, I’d leave things alone and get on with things..it’s not like you haven’t tried to contact her, you have.

You’ve done all you can from your end, so move on.

Who knows people are working on their lives. Just a expression of the way they feel at that moment.

I didn't think about it like that but on reflection, it's true...people are just working on their lives and figuring things out. Thanks for giving me another perspective on things..flowerforyou

On reflection..and today being another day and all, I do owe someone the sanctimonious douche an apology.

It was me and not the person that annoyed me.

I just love the completely arbitrary way the makers of Family Guy just threw him in there with just a ‘Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Conway Twitty’ and no reference to the episode at all. Pure brilliance IMO.

Never heard of him (Mr Twitty) before watching FG but as I’ve seen the repeats so many times I actually sing along with him.

Which begs yet another question. Realising there will be varying answers but..."at what age is it acceptable for a child/teen to have a phone"?

One would like to think that most 15yr olds are able to grasp the concept of "predators" more so than a child 5 years their junior?

It's relative K...Varies from home to home, child to child, parent (parenting) to parent.....circumstances ...

It's true. Also depends on the children.

My older son has never given me any reason not to trust him. Whereas my youngest (only 6), has a totally different personality and I know that when he outgrows SpongeBob/CBeebies etc and gets to the age of internet/mobile phone use, I'll be all over him like a rash.

Short answer....basically, I won’t compromise where my younger son is concerned. I can and do date during the week but am only completely ‘child free’ every other weekend. Most guys understand it in principle but they don’t get it in practice.

And also because most of the guys I’ve dated haven’t realised that it takes a hell of a lot longer than a couple of dates before they become the centre of my world .

And because I won't put out on the first date.
