i grew up on country music my parents like conway twitty roy clark, johnny cash and many others hee haw.. got stuck watching that in fact my dads 2nd cousin is teri clark and a uncle of mine was married to lorreta lyns cousin

I just love the completely arbitrary way the makers of Family Guy just threw him in there with just a ‘Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Conway Twitty’ and no reference to the episode at all. Pure brilliance IMO. Never heard of him (Mr Twitty) before watching FG but as I’ve seen the repeats so many times I actually sing along with him.

Conway,one of my favorite's. I saw him in 1974 with Loretta Lynn.
