Chocolate crinkles:

1/2 cup oil
1/4 cups baking cocoa.
4 tablespoons butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

1 cup powdered sugar

Mix oil, butter, granulated sugar, and cocoa. Blend in eggs until well mixed. Add vanilla, then flour. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt into the mix. Chill for several hours (it'll chill a lot faster in a metal mixing bowl).

Heat oven up to 350 degrees, then roll rolled balls of dough in a bowl of powdered sugar. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.

Haha, I actually don't like that many chocolate chips in my cookies. But IF you are a serious chocolate lover, I'll be posting a recipe I'm SURE you'd love. ;D

I live in the valley in Oregon, and for the past three days there's been snow, hail and ice! Today all the colleges/high schools/elementary schools were closed. :/ It's been insane!

And it's supposed to be in the teens for the next two mornings, I am not looking forward to this, since it means I'll probably be stuck at home, since I'm super skiddish when the roads are slick. (Got into a major car accident around a year ago due to black ice)

Chocolate chip cookies:

2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 sticks (1 cup) butter
3/4 cups granulated sugar
3/4 brown sugar
2 eggs
As many chocolate chips as you'd like.

Mix, then bake at 375 degrees for 9-11 minutes. :)
