You can't choose who you are attracted to, that I know for a fact.

But as for me, I am attracted to the male body, but not the mentality. I prefer the company of men, and women, but I don't really have a preference.

And love depends on the heart, it sounds to me like you need to find a new girl to look for an intimate encounter with. I have a couple lesbian friends, and the only reason they would have sex with a man is to get pregnant, and for the most part, they manage to get around it. The male body just doesn't appeal to them, it would be like asking a gay man to have sex with a woman, it's not going to happen. :/

People's minds work in many different ways. I, too, am attracted to the same 'gender' (I don't really believe in gender roles) Not only physically, but mentally. For quite some time I've noticed that I not only looked at guys, but girls, and thought how attractive they were.

I mean, if she's set on her preference, I'd def. move on. But friends can be wonderful, as well.

I like that you put looking for friendship, since a lot of people are looking for more then 'just' friends.

I was a late bloomer, actually. I didn't start my monthly cycle until I was sixteen, and I didn't really get my womanly characteristics until I was 18.

Odd fact, I started on Halloween. Lamest halloween besides the one where I had chicken pox.

But it's not as important to remember when you started. THE MAIN reason, at least for me, was that I needed to start my annual exam and all that nonsense after I hit 20. -Shrug-
