I would LOVE to beat the living hell out of my ex for the last five years, but I am definitely never using the word around that idiot again b/c he didn't know what it meant.
MORE ON TOPIC: I think 'love' is used far too loosely. I think my 16 year old neice has been in 'love' five times in 2010 alone. I'm not saying it again until whoever I'm with says it first. Hell may freeze over, I'll keep you posted... |

Why Men Are Afraid to Commit. (You may wanna take notes) Thier time for themselves is GONE. (if thier time doesn't revolve around you....they ain't trying) All holidays/birthdays/gatherings...will involve dealing with her family. What if she gets ugly? (it happens) All money is spoken for before it is even earned. Plenty of ladies are single mothers....getting the joy of inevitably dealing with her ex constantly at the door or just anywhere on the pretext of "It's about the kid"....sucks @$$ and it doesn't stop. Fear of monotany. Fear of monogamy. Fear of coming home and finding a room repainted lavender. Most wives outlive thier husbands....I won't let em do me in too. If there is a split (there usually is) .....spiteful greed gets drug into the picture. It always hurts to lose something that you want badly. Baby....I am glad it wasn't 4 years. Hurt hurts....there is no diminishing that. But, eventually the pain passes. Just be a good person....other opportunities will eventually avail themselves to you. Not every swing of the bat is gonna be a home run. But, ya still gotta step up to the plate and take your best shot.... Y'all are too long winded. Let me shorten this up. Men would like commitment a lot more, if they weren't required to actually participate and could have sex with other women, if available. But most women want them to participate and want to be the only one for sex too. You might want to think about what kind of sacrifice a man has to make when he finally does settle, before you demand too much. I live in a town where the women outnumber men 4 to 1. All I keep thinking his, "He has options, better take it slow." |

Don't know what ya got, till it's gone. How about "you know what you had, you're glad its gone, BUT you weren't alone when they were around. So its not necessarily them you miss, its being acknowledged by someone other than yourself in the room." |

you sound needy and co-dependent. Break it off with both of them, be alone for a while and learn who you are and what you want. Seems you only go for guys that want you - and that is sad. Work on your self esteem issues you might be a happier person. $.02 Rude much? You may have a point, but you also sound like a bitter *ssh*le. |

Is he just not that into me?

I've been dating someone for two years. He's told me he doesn't want to get married and he doesn't want to live together right now. I feel like I'm wasting my time with this guy. How long should I wait to have the kind of relationship I want? It's frustrating and I don't know what to do. Sounds like he is still playing the field to me. I'd have to agree, it sounds like he has something more important than you to consider. He is your number 1, he should feel the same way. If you aren't number 1, don't talk about it, don't take abuse, just end it now. |

leave out anything personal that's negative about him -especailly since he hasn't done anything wrong just tell him ur not feelin it any more & hope u can stay friends FRIENDS? What a total chick thing to say! She is about to hand his *ss to him and she wants to stay friends? The only person to take that offer, thought the relationship was over too, or they are planning to stay close and wear you down eventually. There is no such thing as friends after a break up, if there was, I would have a ton of them because I used that line in my 20s, and they never called again. It's just a selfish offer to make you feel better about yourself for hurting them when they say "yes". Someone is always gonna be hurt in a break up, there is no avoiding that, its life. NO ONE wants to be in the 'friends' zone afterward. You sit across from the person you thought you were going to have a future with, who only hangs out with you out of guilt and slaps on a pathetic smile in an effort for you to forgive them for not wanting to be with you anymore. (panting from ranting) Ah! sweet release of hostility. |

I prefer red heads. i prefer natural blonde oriental women FYI Oriental is a racist term, they prefer 'asian'. I think the bleach blond asian has that 'sexy/slutty' look going for them. They do prefer Asian but I was told it is because "Oriental is FURNITURE.....PEOPLE ARE ASIAN!!!!" (This was told to me by the person whom the 58 yr old Chinese female co-worker, screamed at.) You are right, but I was told by my Chinese cooking teacher that it is offensive. Also, have you ever asked a asian person from another eastern country if they are Chinese. DO NOT DO IT. They go off like a Roman Candle, its like I called them 'Chink or Charlie'. One lady yelled at me "I no Chinese! I from Thailand"! Man she was madder than a wet hen. |

well heres a little of the situation. I started dating a 25yo who ill call beng. Nice guy but very young and i knew it was something that wouldnt go far at all. Guess thats why i started dating him coz i know its gonna go no where n i can kinda control it so i dont get hurt. Enter a 31yo who ill call lovecraft who i have known for a long time who wants to be with me n has always wanted too. I was open n honest with lovecraft n told him that i was with beng but lovecraft told me he dont care, he has waited too long n that he wants to be with me regardless. After months of thinking i have decided that my heart is with lovecraft n not beng. Now how do i say that to beng.........sorry i dont want to be with u because my heart is elsewhere???? sorry beng i dont think we would work out coz i dont see a future there n ur very young n immature i have 2 kids of my own i dont want another????? I want to be truthfull but i dont want to fully devastate the guy either. Into everyone's life a little heartache must fall, and he is young enough to bounceback. Don't tell him you have been talking to LoveCraft, just that you can't get over your feelings for someone from your past and you don't want to hurt him by leading him on. Use the specific words, "I don't see a future with you". |

My brother advised me to say that if you act like you don't wanna be tied down, women will run at you like a stampede. Mainly because they think they can change your mind.

Dating and STD's

Wow dude thanks for the lecture.
Dragonfly Chaser, the honest truth is that you are probably gonna hit and miss with finding someone who will be understanding about such things. If you think about it, that's the way it is for everybody, STD free or not. There is always something that will make relationships more complicated, and sometimes they don't work out. I would suggest going out with a guy a few times, and find out if you like each other. If you think it would go as far as sex, be honest. If it doesn't work out, other fish in the sea. |

My father, was an alter boy until he was 16. It was a very small town and he would watch our local priest have lunch at his house and get slap *** drunk with my mawmaw while he talked on every congregant's back.
He never really questioned my beliefs until he told me, in a non-related subject, that Religion was simply a form of control for the chaos of life, Faith was a fevor of judgment on others, and Sin was the product of those who pretended to have both. We were talking about 'The Scarlette Letter' by Nathaniel Hawthorne. When I looked into his eyes, I knew then why he hadn't attended church since he was 16. |

DAMN I LOVE THAT SHOW. Maybe its because I get to look at hard working people, doing **** I would never do, and I get to learn something new.
Plus, Mike Rowe is funny and good to look at. Dirt is sexy. |

Just saw "Thirst", Korean subtitled Romance/Horror.
A priest goes to a facility to receive experimental treatment for a disease, and is the only one to survive after a blood transplant. Now he thirsts for blood and all manner of sin. Quietly sadistic. |
