Even goin thru a particularily nasty divorce. I still
believe...someday, someway, somewhere, BAM that will be it.
I have felt the "electricity" and the "sparks". It is a great feeling.
Only happened once, he ended up my very best friend.

once for 16 years. I too like everyone else thought I had found my
soulmate and best friend. Wrong. Have been divorced for only a brief
while and have run the gambit of emotions.
I recently decided that I had been exclusive for actually nearly 17 yrs
and that I would not be so again, for a VERY, VERY, long time. LOL. I
have a son, and we pal around together.
I am "shopping" now, and having a blast.

This last Christmas was decidely harder, going thru the divorce and all.
But when my son handed me a locket and told me it was to hold my
greatest treasure, a picture of me Mom. So you'll never be alone, even
when I am at Dad's. Made the tears roll freely. I have never felt so
blessed. I remember that day, when I am stressed and I smile and still
tear up.

I could get you a great eggplant parmasiana recipe from work.
I think you may like it and it has a low poing count. I myself, gave up
on WW. I just eat a lot of veggies and bake, broil or grill everything
else. Have lost 50 lbs since Sept,23,06. Now,I work out 3 times a week
and have a goal to loose 15 more by June.

Ya know, age doesn't bother me anymore. I have lots of "friends" that
are younger than I am. Some of them are really smart and cool people.
My dates, that are younger than I am, I have fun. Dont feel bad about
it, cause I look at it this way, if a man can date a "twinky" why can't
I date "hohos"?

When my son was, maybe 9 months old, being told I had 2 choices: get
pregnant right away, or have complete Hysterectomy.
Cancer had snuck in. My choice was an easy one, I had had one beautiful
child and wanted to enjoy his "baby" years. So, I chose the surgury and
no more babies, I was 28. My sons initials, incedentily are LTD.
Didn't know about the cancer until after he was born and named.

giving my ex the recliner our son spewed his dinner in, and not telling
him. But, I only "kinda" felt bad afterward, does that count?

Hey doll, just try using the edge of a butter knife and start peeling.
Happened to me in my bathroom, something similar, just get the edge of
the knife under it and it should pull loose. Dont like using solvents
when a lil elbow grease and willpower will do the trick. Learned about
the thumb button after the fact, too.LOL. Bloody mess.

As I have to be at the lab early in the morning to put this suggestion

I am 41, last lover was 30. What I found wonderous, was simply this I
hit my stride at 40 and am going strong. Age is a number, that's all.
I find younger guys hitting on me more and more. They are sooo
attentive and fun. So, I say, why not.
Age does have it's perks, lol
