I personally am not attracted to overweight men romantically. But everyone deserves to be loved, no matter their height or weight. If I knew what was most attractive to men, I wouldnt be single. I am short & slim, but evidentally that's not what anyone is looking for.ohwell

As a bigger woman,if I'm confident in myself I'm good. And it's not always food I used to be a skinny minny, but due to some health issues and meds I had to be on I gained a lot of weight which is hard to take off,but I"m working on that. But if you love yourself and the person inside it does not matter.I look at the heart and soul of a man,his senses of humor and honesty if he has those qualities weight is not an issue for me.

weight is very important in a relationship. Without any weight, one would just float off into space because gravity would have no effect. All the prospective dates I have must have no weight, because, they just vanish. Either that, or the aliens get them.grumble

seriously...how many more threads like this?

Most eating disorders are not about weight...it's about other issues and the feeling they are worthless or the need to feel better. most people with them keep them because when they feel the world is out of control...eating or lack of is the only thing they can control

I get really tired of the jokes or jabs at either side in threads like these. It doesn't do anyone any good.

And seriously...the constant topic isn't doing the other side any good either

the grass is NOT always greener on the other side. I'll say the same thing i have in these threads....skinny people get teased, insulted, rejected and hurt as much as anyone does explode

Rose knows what she is talking about. Being skinny myself, I know the feeling, and I am one of those who can never gain any weight even if I ate a pig, but I go to gym regularly to keep up my weight and it does help.

I really don't see people bashing anyone here.

I was talking about this with my sister today. She takes after mom (heavy set) & i take after my dad (skinny). both of us have always envied the other

the constant threads like this...is a beat down to skinny people...whether meant to or not.

it would be the same as is skinny people kept constantly posting threads of the opposite side. I would never do that because I think everyone is beautiful...unless they are ugly inside.

I'm tired of the comments about ribs, etc. and unless someone personally knows about eating disorders...you can't possibly understand

If someone is 200lbs. overweight, than i can think of 200 reasons not to date that person....

however, if one is happy in their own skin than i wouldn't worry about it....

I keep trying to tell you people it isn't about what is on the outside that counts!! It is what's on the inside. You could be the ugliest fattest person on the outside and be the most beautiful person on the inside!! We as a society are stupid when it comes to this!!! God made each of us an individual and different for a reason!!! happy Besides larger fluffier women sometimes have more to offer because they are shoved to the side for the little skinny women.

i agree!!!

i am a plus sized woman, and i have just as much if not more to offer than an "undersized woman". i am not exactly happy with my weight, but that has nothing to do with the media....but i certainly am not ashamed of it!!!

Me either I am very comfortable as a larger woman and |I am a happy person inside and out!!!!!

Just a silly question here. If all the big women are as happy with themselves as they claim to be, why does a big woman always start these threads *****ing about how they are manhandled by the world for being big?
