Topic: Why are guys A**holes??????? | |

Internet relationships are usually more fantasy than reality. This should be posted at the top of the home page of every dating site. Except eHarmony, where it should say "We need all your money." |

I'd say anyone can be an @$$hole Some girl ims me today, rudely leaves and then doesn't even answer my email which I politely just asked why she left. Talk about a ***** Sounds like she might have had a real life emergency? The same thing happened to me today, I had to leave in the middle of a conversation- couldn't be helped. I certainly hope those guys aren't posting what an a@@hole I am on some forum. Sometimes you have to give people the benefit of the doubt, real life trumps the internet, hands down. |

So in January I started talking all serious to this guy. He lived in Canada. Long story short, he dumped me about a month after we started talking, and without a reason. Then a couple of hours later he was talking all serious to another woman in the forums. The day of Valentines Day, I started talking to another guy. He lived in Cali. He was amazing and I seriously thought there was a chance with this guy. WELL, there isnt one. He sent me a text tonight that said he just got laid by some chick. HELLLO? DID I HEAR YOU RIGHT? I turned down a date with a nice guy that lived here in IDAHO because of him. GUESS WHAT ITS BEEN ABOUT A MONTH AND A WEEK. And once again I'm gonna be in a I hate men mood again. I thought guys got more mature with age, but I guess there are A**holes at any age group Why cant I keep a guy longer than two freakin months? plus if i'm talking to someone online and we are not commited, and the gal across the street needs some lovin, ****, i'm over there. Now if you have both told each other, oh yes dear, your the only one for me and i want you and none other, might be a different story, but i cant get laid by someone 1500 miles away and i still think you should meet more than one person, especially online before you try to commit. there are exceptions in all cases, still got to go back to the car buying analogy, if you buy the first model you sit in and drive, you may know what you want and be happy, but you could very well be disappointed and stuck with what you dont want sharp, as much as i love ya babe, i dont completely agree with that. if you are "Talking" to someone you should be upfront and let them know that you are "playing the field" if that is what you intend to do. if that is out of the way and in the open then hey..what the hell...go for it. but if the other party isnt aware of the intentions, it could be hurtful to them and if you really care about them or like them, you could cost yourself something good. as for buying the first model...hell darlin if it feels good sitting behind that wheel, why waste your time and effort looking for something better, you may not find it. i think it is possible to fall in love online. of course, once you meet in person sometimes things are different. people tend to be different behind the comfort of a computer/phone and when in person are opposite of what you thought. then again, sometimes its even better. several years ago i met the one true love of my life via internet, before it was "the thing". we talked for a long time and decided to meet. he came down for 2 weeks from michigan and never left. we were together almost 5 years. unfortunately, things beyond our control separated us. very sad. but thats another thread haha |

I think I'd have to say to take some time before throwing yourself full force into these guys. And I'd probably talk to more than one at a time. The "I just got laid" text is a little bit of a jerk-off thing to do, okay, a big one, but unless you've had the discussion, it's not a commited relationship.
