I enjoyed this movie a lot, Woodall portrays his character with finesse while Hoffman plays more of a supporting role.. I find this well executed and acted

Switched it off though as I didn't find it captivating at all.

IMdB rating is 8,4 so I gather it gets good later on. It's a 2,45 hr long movie.
I decided not to wait that long for it to get good.

I was happy I hadn't gone to see it in movie theatre and spent money on it.

neither IMDb nor RT have any ratings for this yet.. still in theaters and only set to come out on Oct 30th.. personally I give this a solid 9

Interesting in one way but I think I find it too emotionally upsetting to watch.
I remember seeing a black & white photo of a white idiot in the 19th century standing in front of an enormous pile of buffalo skulls with his rifle with a proud grin on his face.
Made me wanna puke and cry my eyes out at the same time.

The other day I read that white army men decided to kill off buffalo as it was Native Americans' food supply. They wanted to get rid of them and/or out of the area so they could build their railroad in piece. Killing their food supply was a great way to do that.
They promoted everyone to come and kill buffalo.
I never knew that. Sickening.
The command to do this didn't come from Washington but men higher up in the army made the decision. Washington (I mean the government/president, not the man Washington) knew, but turned a blind eye.

Like you say, there were millions, white man comes, buffalo as good as gone. I often truly am ashamed to be white. All the atrocities white man has committed ... disgusting.
I lived it up close and personal when I lived in -and worked for- an Aboriginal community in Aus. The guilt and shame almost did me in.

watched The Sheep Detectives 2026 with Hugh Jackman & Patrick Stewart

Every night a shepherd reads aloud a murder mystery, pretending his sheep can understand. When he is found dead, the sheep realize at once that it was a murder and think they know everything about how to go about solving it.

Great flick, really enjoyed this one. It was a very fun film to watch.

watched Just Play Dead 2026 with Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Green & Eoin Macken

A criminal plans to fake his death for insurance money while framing his wife's lover. His wife plots to kill him for real and take it all. Both race to outmaneuver each other in a deadly battle of wits.

IMDb gives this a 4.1.. justifiably so.. I expected so much more from Jackson.. totally disappointing movie ta watch.. the actual plot of the film is well thought out.. it's not the acting, that seemed acceptable.. but the conception just seemed off.. IMO of course..

I really liked it.

Just watched an old Denzel Washington movie called "Unstopable" ...A runawayn train has to be stopped before it caused heavy damage to other trains on that line ..
I killed myself laughing when at the beginning they show why that train got loose ....its was so funny , but at the same time pretty tragic !!!

I SO love that movie!! And yes, the man hat caused it all... what a knucklehead!
Denzel is great in this movie.

It is loosely based on the real-life CSX 8888 runaway train incident that occurred in Ohio on May 15, 2001.
Pretty daunting to think of this happening for real!

watched The Girl in the River 2026 with Maggie Grace, Andrew Stevens & Ralph Macchio

A seasoned criminologist and a young female psychologist are lured to a remote American town to investigate the murder of a little girl and the disappearance of her twin sister as they crawl inside the killer's mind in a race against time.


It was a made for TV movie so not the greatest.. however it was an interesting watch.. keeps ya guessing until the very last on who the perp actually was, and what having tunnel vision instead of an open mind can cause.

IMDb gives this a 3.9, which I feel is a little low, I'd give this a 5.5
