Was folding laundry and a thought hit me.
If some type of disaster hit your area and you had to pack one suitcase, besides socks and underwear, (the most asked for items in homeless shelters), and needed I.D.s passport etc., what would you pack? |

I live in Arkansas, we have tornadoes all the time so one of the things I have is an emergency backpack that is a kit with the blankets, water pills, first aid, etc. But I also travel a lot so I usually have a bag that is ready for about a weeks worth of clothes and what ever else I need. |

Just like Noah did on the Ark.. LOL 2 sweatpants, 2 sweaters, 2 pairs of sneakers, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of slippers, 2 sets of jammies, 2 pairs of gloves, toothbrush/paste, vitamins, a bunch of energy bars, a few bottles of water, a few rolls of toilet paper & a hair brush. I'd be wearing rubber boots, a raincoat (over a warmer jacket) and a baseball cap. |

Myself several pairs of jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts,jogging pants, coat, sweater, over counter meds, sleeping bag, small tent, and any protection means I have..and of course those few things mentioned in the first post..
Ohh Phone and side charger...Plus protein bars and any food that is none perishable & bottles of water. Maybe strange but I would grab a few small items that belonged to my parents and granny.. Humm yea I have a big suitcase on rollers.. 
But I would load it all in my trailer that hooks up to my Trike get all the gas I could, and go as far out of any town as I could.. Ohh Trike is always full..

oh yeah.. I guess a phone and charger would help huh.. thanks for the reminder Gal.. and maybe a battery with a solar panel??

Ohh they have the phone chargers that are solar powered..that comes with solar panels.. I have not bought one yet just seen them not a bad idea.. The extra charger I have for my phone I keep it fully charged just in case I loose power. |
