Thinking... why do people still watch Eurovision song contest? I read a lot of complaints on FB about it. I stopped watching long time ago as it was almost always UK winning. And since Easter European countries also entered the contest one of them almost always wins.
This time Ukraine won, and from what I gather not the best singer but the country with the most pity-points. |

I used to love The Saint!! Roger Moore at the time. And even more so when a movie came out with Val Kilmer playing the role of The Saint. I was totally smitten  
Since both went down well with the ladies, joining might be quite a good move, haha. |

I used to love The Saint!! Roger Moore at the time. And even more so when a movie came out with Val Kilmer playing the role of The Saint. I was totally smitten
Since both went down well with the ladies, joining might be quite a good move, haha. Ha ha ... you sending me to my death...I didn't think the Church appreciates the work of the Templars .... saints or not . Nah !!! For now being a member of the Knights of Columbus is good enough .... but but the Templar's sound more Romantic and as you pointed out ....the ladies prefer that huh !! |

For now being a member of the Knights of Columbus is good enough .... but but the Templar's sound more Romantic and as you pointed out ....the ladies prefer that huh !! Actually they did work with the pope & Vatican and were religious themselves too. But at some point the French king owed them a truckload of money which he didn't have or didn't want to pay. He then made a pact with the Pope after telling him the Templars weren't honest, prayed to satan and were into then forbidden sexual acts, none of which was true. But it was a nice excuse to go after them as the then Pause also didn't like the fact the Templars had gotten so powerful. Vatican is corrupt as sin and likes to fill its own coffers and maintain its power. So two birds in one stone: the powerful Templars gone and the French king was rid of his debt. Grand Master Jacques DeMolay was the first to be burnt at the stake, from where he cursed both the king & the pope that they'd die within a year. If memory serves this actually happened to both... If not mistaken the Vatican has finally released the documents of the trial from their secret archives. Only took them 700 years. In actual fact the then pope had already absolved the Templars but that scroll mysteriously disappeared in their archives, only to be found again in 2001. Knights Templar win heresy reprieve after 700 years VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - The Knights Templar, the medieval Christian military order accused of heresy and sexual misconduct, will soon be partly rehabilitated when the Vatican publishes trial documents it had closely guarded for 700 years. So in any case... it would be totally okay & honourable to be a Templar! Very smexy

Wow you sure know the way to a man's heart especially with all these history lessons . Europe has so much history compare to virginal Canada ... Or is it because I am the last of the romantics ha ha Thanks
