Thinking... I can't believe Eric is letting me make the fudge. For eons he has made fudge for the Christmas family get together, calls it "Uncle Eric's famous fudge", lol. It's nice that he has so much faith in my cooking and baking abilities.
 Hopefully it's going to turn out okay, the recipe is a first for me.

Thinking the fudge turned out great. It's nice and smooth, not gritty... and it's setting well. Tastes great too. Hopefully no one will notice I forgot to add the vanilla

Thinking... it's midnight here so Christmas has officially arrived!

My 13 yr old boy went to bed before 10:00 tonight while on vacation when i have to argue with him to honor his 10:00 bedtime on a school night. He's such a little man it makes me feel so good to see him act like a little kid still when it comes to Christmas!!

At 1 in the night and after a good but busy, long day I'm thinking of sleep... Being in bed, wonderfully warm under the duvet!

Thinking this is the latest I have every started cooking for Christmas lmao..
Son is working oil field so he just got home.. And well has to go see his dad down the street for a few.. Steaks are marinated, shrimp is ready, green bean casserole is in the oven, potatoes are sliced and ready to go in the oven.. Salted Carmel Chocolate pie and pumpkin roll is chilled.. Drink in hand now just waiting for them to get back lol

Bonnie ohh I must say the food was all good even made bacon wrapped Jalp stuffed with cream cheese to go along with the rest.. Thinking the extra time I got to spend just with my grand daughter that is 18 was the best part of my day yesterday..
