How incredibly egotistical some people are to assume that they could ever exist without God. It makes me very sad.

I've read the bible lol. I understand not all religions don't praise god. I actually believe a lot in buddhism.

I choose both Science and God. I think the Earth was created in six days, but they were Gods days, not Earth Days....God's days would probably be much longer.

I also think that God designed us with the ability to learn, adapt and evolve.

It is counter-intuitive to argue a basis in faith with fact... the arguements cannot be made, or won. If God's existance has to be proven scientifically, then it's not faith. We, as Christians shouldn't defend faith in such a way. Our perspective is differnet.

There is support for some of the arguments here... primitive cultures DO use religion to control the populace at times. But that doesn't mean there's no God. It mean's man is corrupt... well, I don't think ANYone is going to argue THAT! LOL!

It's a miricle we woke up... sure... but the mirical isn't in the waking - it's in everything that's around you that is part of it... Our lives, how we're made, how we Think, feel... to Me, that's a mirical... Could I explain it all away, scientifically... of course.. so some degree.. but eventually, you'll get to something the best scientists don't even know... Then, we'll you're in the territory of faith...

I ask questions all the time... I believe everyones faith is their own... I am Christian because of the FAITH I have in GOD...not because I was told to...I remain Presbyterian because of my church 'family' not because I believe in everything the doctrine of the Presbyterian Church teaches. I have questions...my 'faith' is not the same as most...its my own...but yes I call my God...God...I believe in the fact that He came, died, and rose again for us. Its my Faith and I respect all religions...I will not even say you won't go to God's heaven because you don't believe in God. LOl...C.S.Lewis has a whole belief on that, that he puts in basic terms for his Narnia readers...read the last story. I'm very open minded to a lot of things...I research other religions and yes add stuff to my own Faith...I'm unique like that. But yes I am Christian in the ultimate sense of the word that Christ is my Father and on and on.

No scientist with any amount of proof is going to tell me there is no GOD. I have children, they are proof of GOD and I am Human, proof of GOD, then there is nature and love and human emotion and wisdom and so on and so on, look around, GOD is everywhere!!!!!!!

You just asked above if bryan was there, on the moon. Where you there when god created earth? Or when jesus was crucified? No no no! You were not. Your "god is real" stories are no more factual than me saying man had landed on the moon because neither one of us were there to see it, first hand.

You know how much fact basis any religion has when it comes to gods, mystical creatures etc? None. You know why because it is nothing more than a fairy tale. The bible is like reading Harry Potter, its a good read but when your done, its just a good read.

Ya know your posts might have had some validity if it were a discussion in a tavern somewhere during the middle ages. You say there is no evidence to support God yet you contradict yourself by saying there is a higher power. What is a higher power other than God? You say religious organizations killed scientist's that were disproving religion. Scientists are still around and yet they have not proved religion to be false. Are religious zealots still killing scientists? I don't think so. You say, we answer questions that we don't have an answer to by using religion. What is wrong with that? How does that disprove God? In short your whole statement in my opinion is null. BTW it is spelled Vatican.

Oh yea, this means i dont need FACT to prove my God, i Have Faith.. I dont need to see him, i can very well feel him, as though most people would say they feel love, sadness, happiness? WOuldnt it be ironic for evolution to creat such emotions?

small minded? I believe that for someone to only believe in somthing they see is small minded, sounds more controlled than believeing in somthin that isnt seen. You would have to rely on a sence that your not familar with, i believe this would require a more "open mind".
