I've read the bible lol. I understand not all religions don't praise god. I actually believe a lot in buddhism. Really? The whole thing? a word to the wise, the Bible was written and edited by man. It should be mentioned that these people are human and by default.....not perfect. You as well have not read the bible, MAN did NOT write the bible. Sure they did, and King James had it edited:) |

I guess all we can do is pray for those without faith.

Sure they did, and King James had it edited:) So when the rewrite the science books some editior, re-wrote SCIENCE then right? Dont come to me with childish counter points. If you actually did read the bible man takes no credit for writing the bible and actually the bible was written through the holy ghost. |

Where you there when god created earth? Or when jesus was crucified? No no no! You were not. Your "god is real" stories are no more factual than me saying man had landed on the moon because neither one of us were there to see it, first hand. So, your premise is that nothing exists unless it is witnessed first hand by the observer. I haven't seen Europe, but, I'm fairly certain it's there... I don't see air, but, dang, I'm pretty sure IT's there too... And, God, in Job, tells Job much of what you're saying... "Where you THERE when..." etc... so, in a way, you're kinda makin' the point for us... |

eternalsun, I feel very sorry for you. You are so lost. No, I am not lost. God is just not a part of my life as it should be. He is not real. Why would I waste my time praying to a god that does not exist? Why "believe" in something that can not be seen, prooved, touched, smelled, felt, etc. Thats like me writing a book saying the big meatball man is the new one true god and you must believe in him or you will not go to meatball land. Thats about as much factual base as ANY religion on this planet has. It all comes down to ****ing faith. I dont have faith in soemthing that is not factual. End of story. END OF STORY!!!!! |

I guess all we can do is pray for those without faith. I used to talk on an atheist fourm. In my life i have never met people who were so critical and negative in my life. I was never glad to have been given such an experience. I was cussed at, called everyname in the book but i still learned. THe people in these fourms, are much nicer =) |

Ok, then. That's your thing. I just wonder what your eternity will be like when your body is dead and gone....but that is not for me to worry about. Responding to eternalsun.

Now wait...Jesus died on the cross for our sins. God forgives no matter how much wrong we do as long as we confess/pray for our sins. So, does it bring me closer to god by sinning more? The more I sin, the more he's going to forgive! (I'm really just joking here)

If you actually did read the bible man takes no credit for writing the bible and actually the bible was written through the holy ghost. So the holy ghost penned it? What is the King James version that is commonly distribute in the United States then? Not to be a jerk, I would like more information on how you came to this conclusion. |

I know you're joking... |

God however knows your intentions. You can lie to your friends about really asking for forgivness but you cannot lie to God, again you need to check your intentions. some joke... |

The Bible was inspired by God through the holy ghost.

I like the term higher power a lot. It allows me to learn knowing instead of believing that there are people out there that are wiser than me.
