Ummm..he already *did* find someone.....LOL
Just because someone's criteria is different than yours doesn't mean they are looking for "perfection".... An obvious friend running to his rescue. Stay calm love. |

I don't mind a lady younger than me.
BUT I don't like Crack pipes syringes . If you are addicted to hard drugs. I am not your guy. |

Well Kitten is that your Bike.
It looks a little big for you. |

I've come across a few profiles that show yachts, golfing, foreign countries, not a face and the profile starts out with how rich "he" is.
I pass those up as very egotistical and maybe a scam. |

Rescued from what?
I'm sorry you take offense at my preferences. I think the only one that needs to deal with that is you? I'm perfectly fine with my preferences because they are MY PREFERENCES. Be well citizen... |

I took offense myself at your comment about seeking "perfection".. We ALL want someone who is "perfect" for us, and deserve no less... Taking less than what we deserve is called "settling".. I get s*** about my prefernces all the time, but...the thing is? It didn't hamper my late husband, or the man I was with for 8 years before him...my prefernces (which applied to both of them) and my difference from most other womne is waht drew thwem, and they found it unique and refreshing.. When i had been with my late husband several years, i was going through some stuff, cleaning out some drawers, and came across the copy of what I wrote for the personal add that I put in the Nashville Scene back years ago...(that attracted the guy I was with for 8 years before him). I showed it to him, and said see? I've *always* had the same standards...what I wrote then still applies today.... I learned from the travesty that was my first marriage (in the 80's) to be a bit more selective, and stand by my principles and beliefs in any further relationships...and, that has worked out much better, as evidenced by the both of them.. Just because someone's preferences and ideals and so forth don't suit you doesn't mean they aren't entitled to what they want.. I am sure YOuy have prefernces and so forth that other people might higly disagree with, but..you k bnow what? That doesn't matter, because they arenb't you, and don't have to live your life.. To each their own. |

I apologize if I put anyone off by my statements.
I just thought that it was an astronomically long list of expectations, and I was really put off by the way he kept saying, that if you dont meet his standards, you are "shut down". It just sounded kinda harsh, and demanding. I fully understand, that we are all different people, with different wants, and desires. And it was not my intention to say that anyone should not find the person that most suits them. Peace. |

Then that means there are DEFINITELY no teeth.
Worst shot is NO profile Pic and NO description of any kind. Heyyyyy! I have teeth and I paid darned good money for them! Jk. Back to subject: 1 older men wanting 20 years or more age difference....Yeah good luck with that Skippy 2 sexual references in their title or profile. 3 lying about their age when it's obvious they are a lot older. 3 writing in their profile about how wealthy they are 4 shirtless pics Oh the list could go on and on ......no ima not on here to date just here for forums . I meant people that have lost their teeth, due to possible drug use, or bad hygiene. If you dont care for your body, that tells me alot. I know there are exceptions. That some people are born with bad teeth, but they could still be clean, yanno. And they dont have to be straight, but they cant be like this. That gets me running...away! I don't have false teeth though that was just me being my usual sarcastic self.....but thanks for the clarification and you are right nothing wrong with false teeth |

When viewing a profile male or female, what things would make you think twice when looking for a potential partner/relationship or friend? Here are one or two of my put offs ~ 1. They show the top half of their body, naked. 2. They are laying on a bed or couch in a seductive way 3. They are holding an alcoholic drink or cigarette in their hand or are surrounded by alcohol. 4. Misspelt words. 5. They are clearly lying about their age. 6. They are 30 years your junior and their starting line is "Hey Babe"? Do you have any pet peeves? All those, plus mainly NOTHING written as a profile..excpet that stupid "tell ya later" or "ask me anything".. Immediate pass...I do not have the time or interest to try and ferrret out if we'd have anything at ALL in common... When their ocupation is business man or militry. When there is nothing in their profile etc |

hat if you dont meet his standards, you are
"shut down". It just sounded kinda harsh, and demanding. I apologize. Sometimes I choose the wrong words for an open forum. What I meant and what I am stressing is that when I find something in a profile that makes no sense or contradicts what they have already said or indicated that I spend no more of my time considering that person as a possible match. It reduces the amount of time I spend considering the ones that are ify. Why waste my time when I have thousands more to look at? Shut down was meant as click away or 'shut down' that profile feed. |

We all have prefrences, we might not want to own up to it, after all the root of preference is prefer. But sometimes life is like a box of chocolates and the carmel candy you carefully selected turns out to be a nut cluster.
