Reading through this thread (yeah i went through every page) is better than asking someone to rate your profile.

NO PHOTO - how odd is it that the person asking the original question doesn't have a photo...just an outline.?? didnt read the profile. I also dont like the shaved and polished bald heads. i never read the profile on those.

When viewing a profile male or female, what things would make you think twice when looking for a potential partner/relationship or friend?
Here are one or two of my put offs ~ 1. They show the top half of their body, naked. 2. They are laying on a bed or couch in a seductive way 3. They are holding an alcoholic drink or cigarette in their hand or are surrounded by alcohol. 4. Misspelt words. 5. They are clearly lying about their age. 6. They are 30 years your junior and their starting line is "Hey Babe"? Do you have any pet peeves? Profiles with a lot of numbers after their username are usually scammers/bots. |

pro-jab, or anti-jab or pro-life, or pro-choice, pride stuff, or Trump, is on you on profile pic is an instant NO! you start with POLITICS on intro pic, I will never speak to you! have no use for, we can talk politics later. but if politics are so important you put it in your profile pic, we have nothing in common, and I would stay single, before I ever spoke to you!

People who don’t put their real locations on their profiles! I class those as scammers. I dont have issue as long as use closest big city, as some rural areas might be a turnoff to a potential viewer, but only a few miles to a recognizable city. trust me, around here many tiny town names, but 18 miles away in 2 directions is a city many would know of. actually the city I technically live in, was erased by our govt in the 1930's? yes erased, it was flooded for a dam project, so it was renamed, as well as town 5 miles away my grandparents were born. so my area's "legal" name is same as another town we were incorporated into when original town was flooded. but 18 miles to area, or same miles another direction for a NASCAR race track people would know about, versus small names. at least thats my 2 cents worth. I already dealt with person using 1 of local area small city names, which was 45 miles away, but in reality 150 miles away, I refused to meet, and walked away. |

My belief is that a profile pic should primarily show your face without sunglasses or any of those animal add ons. Just a nice clear shot & then add anything you'd like just in other pics that you add. Don't be so far off in the distance that you become unrecognizable.
(shaving cream is okay on a man) Eyes are the windows to your soul & I like to see what colour yours is. |
