When viewing a profile male or female, what things would make you think twice when looking for a potential partner/relationship or friend?
Here are one or two of my put offs ~ 1. They show the top half of their body, naked. 2. They are laying on a bed or couch in a seductive way 3. They are holding an alcoholic drink or cigarette in their hand or are surrounded by alcohol. 4. Misspelt words. 5. They are clearly lying about their age. 6. They are 30 years your junior and their starting line is "Hey Babe"? Do you have any pet peeves? yes |

One thing I absolutely loathe is a profile that seeks people outside their own age as it bespeaks so many issues. Like a 50 year old wanting only teenagers, I am sure I set some sort of land-speed record for getting away from such profiles. LOL, what about all these 20 somethings, looking for 45 to 60+ somethings?? to the question of the thread, the only thing that really bugs me are completely blank profiles with just a name age and location. the rest, well, we are all adults here. we can all ways say, we are not interested. though, personally I might caution people about posting pics with their kids. on an adult dating site. strictly as a safety concern. |

I have not clicked on any profiles on here yet because I'm afraid they will see that I've clicked on them and then message me.
 (Forum posters not included in this.)
But I'll say what turns me off in a message. Text speak, using the Mingle suggested starters as your message, any message starting with "Hi Dear", any message from a shirtless man. |

I was getting a lot of them. you can fix a lot of that with your personal messenger setting filters. it limits / defines the people who can contact you. so, you wont get as much of what I call spam mail / messages.. you can also do the same with your searches. so the people you view, will be more likely be, the people you would not mind as much, if they contact you after words. at least thats how I feel about it.. and theres also the unanswered/ delete and or block option. for those PM's, you really dont want to contact you. |

K found something that applies to the topic.:
whats up with women posting pic's with men. when their profile says looking for dating. are they swingers, or do they just not know how to crop them out? either way. the pictures send the message they are all ready dating some one. |

The "Nothing written" Is definitely a waste of time. :) I don't look twice to someone with nothing written it's a red flag |

Well some of the pictures are of the items they own. Cars Bikes boats... who is looking to date that stuff?. Pictures of naked men is not what i look for. Profiles not filled out. What is with the sunglasses in the car pic??? or bathroom???v lol Old pics with their X but kinda cut out or blacked out. recent pics would be nice. it does not take much to take a pic and add it to your profile. and do not say working on your profile. that just tells me you are not true to your word. Keep checking and it is not finished. Your profile tells me what kind of person you are. some people do read what others have to say. that also is a glimps of what the person personality. Everything on thie profile has a meaning. If you are serious to find your next love, your happy ever after..... fill out the dang gambit profile.......
