Thinking I need another cup of coffee

Thinking it's been a good year and I'm looking forward to what 2019 brings

I'm looking forward to it as well! This year's been intense.
I hope next year I'll be able to push forward with all I've been working toward this year. I'm afraid, it's a big step for me, one that I've been putting off for months now. I feel with the new year it's time to either go for it 100% or else quit.

I was sitting here thinking about when my dad told me he used to have an "Ice Box". He always called the refrigerator the "Ice Box".
This made me think about the invention of refrigerators.
This lead me to realize that people now exist inside refrigerators/ovens and most of the year is considered too hot or too cold without them.

In the winter, your house is an oven. Heat is added to the ambient temperature to keep you comfortable. When you go someplace in your car, heat is added so you feel comfortable. When you arrive at your destination, store, someones house, it is usually heated as well.
Technically, we thrive in ovens in the Winter.
Big ovens.

Then, in the summer, nearly every building has air conditioning.
Cars have air conditioning.
Technically, we thrive in refrigerators in the Summer.
Big refrigerators.

I remember growing up we had a coal furnace and no air conditioning.
If dad didn't load coal in the furnace in the Winter, the house got really cold. In the Summer, it was difficult to sleep because it got so hot, even with a fan on and the windows open.

He's having no problem finishing off the ones that turned out good

Thinking I should admit that I evciated my apartment because of suspect asbestos containing material.
