Thinking.... I don't get why my mother has to start being a pain up the rear end again, this short before Christmas when we are supposed to go over to her. But if she keeps this up, I'm not going. Had been looking forward to Christmas, for the first time in years, don't need someone to treat me like chit, least of all my own mother. I don't get why she has to be like this. So happy I'm totally different, also as a mother, but that doesn't make this less painful. 
The way she feels is her problem, not yours. However, it may just be a venting of anguish from age-related aches and pains, or some nonsense that has nothing to do with you. Possibly... It's a recurring problem with my mother. We've sorted it out for now, thank goodness. This close to Christmas -and having to celebrate it together- would've sucked with that vibe. And yes, it's her problem, but sometimes it's difficult to leave it at that. Thanks!

Thinking the very first Star Trek is so weird to watch. You can tell it's all fake rocks, computers, and so on. It's just loads of simple sound effects, wind & smoke machines, a dangerous future rifle that looks just like a caulk gun and so on.
Yet, is does have its charm, and a sense of nostalgia, although I didn't watch it in 66 of course, I was a baby then. And another reason to watch a few more of the episodes is the fact that Capt Kirk is simply unbelievably handsome
He's got that timeless good looks I guess. Must admit, if I have a bit of "a type" it's William Shatner, when younger of course. Or Terrence Knox.  also when younger of course. Or David Cubitt  David Cubitt doesn't have to get any younger. I take him just the way he is, don't even need gift-wrapping, haha.
