Honestly, I like to think that at least some good comes out of it. I'm sure I'll never know. I do know that some people would rather wallow in their ignorance than to try to learn the truth. You know as well as I do some of the things people post on these forums and how ignorant it gets sometimes.

Many of these people remind me of what my grandmother used to tell me about how people were back in the 30's. Ignorant, uneducated farmers believed whatever they were told. It didn't matter whether it was true or not. They believed it. And no matter what, they wouldn't change their minds. Back then many people were closed minded.

Now, yes, there are still closed minded people that only believe whatever they think is the truth. Many refuse to do a search for themselves and find out what the truth really is. All the truth. Not just what's in their little bubble. And then accept it without putting some kind of spin on it that never happened.

Honestly, I could care less if anyone believes the links I post. I'm just putting it out there. The reason I started doing it is because of all the negative threads I see in the political forums that are full of nothing but bias commentary with most times absolutely nothing sensible to back it up. And for the most part easy to shoot down. Because so much of it is so far out in right field. Out of bounds and useless.

So yes, I hope it inspires someone to dig a little deeper. Cut through the lie's, bullshyt and spin. Stop believing whatever it is you "think" you know. And start knowing that you know. Because "you" researched it. When you research things for yourself, you shouldn't be afraid to post a link to it.

Now I'm getting off topic. So that's the end of that.
