ethanol in gasoline creates co2 = ozone
we need to leave corn for food. =.=. bad for cars, too actually results in fewer mpg. . |

Also, bad air quality because of wild fires.

Hugging a burning tree seems inadvisable.

I'm sure there's a buried study of the effects of smoking marijuana on air quality.

Hugging a burning tree seems inadvisable. Proactive not reactive. |

Hugging a burning tree seems inadvisable. Proactive not reactive. Because I've had a long day and I'm exhausted, I read "proactive" as "procreative" and I thought "whoa, I'm sure there is a site for that out there, but this is not it!" I hope... |

Also, bad air quality because of wild fires. Yes people there relate the problem to Wild fires! |

The UK government have found the answer to air pollution in central London, it's called the Congestion Charge, for car drivers it costs £11.50 per day (approx $15.00) for driving a vehicle within the charging zone between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday. Electric vehicles are exempt. Plans to introduce a similar scheme in Birmingham UK are very controversial with strong opposition from the public. |

We got similar things in Rotterdam when it concerns older cars and I believe in cities all buses are electric. Taxis likely too. Not completely sure about the States, but it always strikes me as a country that isn't particularly environmentally concerned. During Christmas season you light up your houses to the extent they can be spotted on Mars. Electricity comes from somewhere, usually requires fossil fuel to produce. Your petrol is so ridiculously cheap that no one gives a toss about burning it up, and so on. Maybe some are concerned but when talking about environmental issues Americans often either seem to not care or not know. Same with your own health. Doctors prescribe antibiotics for the most ridiculous things, and hormone salves that could kill a horse, and so on. Most people don't question these things, don't even know it isn't normal, nor necessary. Most things that are rammed through our throat that reduce our care systems and health that put us back to square one after we'd come a long long way, are all coming from the States. |

Yeah, if it weren't for the mismanagement of land, then forest fires in the western USA wouldn't be as bad. Small fires clean out the material that fuels the big fires. |
