I wouldn't say I miss it . When you mesh with someone, enjoy it , is my philosophy cuz all good things come to an end. And so I did and treasured the moments but I don't cry over spilled milk.

He rinsed dishes and loaded the dw too. OCD husbands have their positives.

I disagree. All "good things" don't come to an end all the time. Then again, what is ones definition of "good things"... ? My love for my children is beyond good and never , ever will cease , but rather only increase. My knowledge that I gain from my past and present experiences is a good thing that only increases and turns into wisdom. I do understand what you are saying , I just wanted to put a different perspective upon it. Different captains, different ships, different horizons.

I had to handle the finances. Anything task which required thinking was mine to do.
