Don't think we have this one?
So ... What are you going to do tonight? Party? Stay at home alone. Or with friends and family? Any traditions? |

Humm normally I go out with friends and we party hardy...
This year it is not suppose to be above 31 today with a mist fallen till at least noon.. I live in Texas where no one knows how to drive when the roads ice up.. Not even me hehehe So I have choose to stay home this year just me and my dog... where it is warm and safe~~~~ I'm sure I will have a few drinks at home today starting early and most likely will be asleep before the ball drops.. all nestled up in my bed or recliner when the time comes.. |

I had intended to go out this year, but the thought of an overload of boozers and drunken idiots on the road has me thinking it might be best to stay home.
I could go to a party nearby, but I know there's lots of boozing and drugs there, and I do not fancy either. Don't like the host much, lol, so in that sense not a great option. I am a tad awkward about staying home alone as I had been looking forward to this evening all year, celebrating it with my love, as last year that all went t*t$ up. Something happened between us last year that hurt me to the core. So I'm a bit concerned those feelings and memories will come up again at midnight. That's why I had planned to go out. But I think it will be a home-alone thing. I do have a bottle of bubblies, and usually the fireworks from the neighbours behind me are astounding. So I take my bubbly drink and a smoke outdoors in the garden, and watch the show :) That's why I normally don't mind being alone. I always have a good time, regardless. |

I picked up a 6-pak of Mike's Hard Black Cherry Lemonade.
Gunna play some music and drink my lemonade then, at midnight I have a bottle of Dom and I'll bid a farewell to 2017 and a cheers to 2018 all by myself. |

As a young man I loved parties. I am usually in bed early, but the fireworks sometimes keep me awake. :)

For the first time ever, I'm going to TRY to make it to a local semi-formal gathering of social strangers.
Usually, I stay home, and ignore the whole thing. |

I'm going out locally later with some special friends. Although I been in the NYC are my entire life I have never gone to Times Sq.. to watch the ball drop. I don't know of any Native folk here who do. Plus with a wind chill around 5 below zero.. you would not catch me out there anyway.
It is Coooold here |
