Topic: Hypothetical question for the ladies | |

Once, a man offered me a new car if I would go
out with him. I laughed all the way to the phone store to change my number. Another time a fellow pulled off the highway and whisked me out of the car to dance to a song that came on the radio. That is the gift I remember best. I guess my point is, the amount has little to do with the effect. So I would have no idea what the 'correct' amount should be. Personally, I prefer gifts that have no price tags. |

I would think that there is no pressure to find a present for me. I'm good.

Soufie, thanks for sharing that and what you value. |

...but men can answer too. Say you started dating someone right around this time of year, and by Christmas, things had gotten kind of serious - seeing each other exclusively, spending more and more time together, etc. What is an appropriate amount of money you think your man should spend on you for Christmas? Be honest. I would suggest you buy her perfume of good quality, Chanel, Gucci, Dior, or similar and around 50ml minimum. She will probably say you shouldn't have, bought her such expensive perfume, but I think they love it really, and it could win you a few Brownie Points. |

Doesn't matter how much you spend..
Doesn't matter what you get her.. All I can say is, you better spend something! and you better get her something!... because if you don't!!.. look out..lol.. |

Some scents make me wanna puke, to overwhelming, too sweet, too something. I don't think I'd ever buy someone perfume / eau the toilette unless I knew what they liked. I'd also much rather get something else from a partner / lover. A nice crystal or some (silver) jewelry, a bracelet, a pendant... something that lasts. |

Not about the money or presents at all. Devote your time and make your woman number one in life. Thats priceless

I don't really care so much about how much it costs. What really gets me is when someone really puts some thought into my present. Maybe they find something that is pertinent to an inside joke...or something that they know I absolutely love...that's enough for me.
