Ok, although the OP may have not made his point or asked his question in the best way...I saw through this, and he is asking why women have issues with height. I'll bite, as this is a "discussion" forum... ;)

I'm a tall woman at 5'10". I do date shorter men, but prefer taller men. Why? I think it has something to do with the way society has molded us from youth. I think society has ingrained in our brains that the man is supposed to be taller, stronger, and capable of sweeping us off our feet, figuratively and literally over the threshold. Therefore, we naturally migrate towards taller aka bigger than us men. However, just as strong, large, tall, etc are seen as more masculine traits...society also tends to see smaller, frail, etc as more feminine traits. Look at Hollywood...although there are many short men and tall women actors, how many times have you seen the leading lady taller than the leading man?

Most of us can admit, it even just looks a little off when you see a couple, and the women is several inches taller. You will also find many women who can admit when they are dating someone shorter or even their same height, they tend to choose shoe height based on their partner...they wear flats on their date versus heels in order to not appear taller than him.

However, let's not blame it all on the women. There are some men out there that are value physical attributes over all else, and pick women who are smaller than them in order to feed their ego and feel more masculine.

Luckily, some women do actually exist who look strictly for personality traits and connection versus physical attributes such as height. There are also some men who are comfortable enough in their masculinity to date taller women. However, you will still find many that physical features are just more important than true worth. This is life.
Hopefully you will be fortunate enough to find the former.

I realize these are just generalizations, and don't apply to everyone, but in my opinion, this is why women prefer taller men.

For me personally, I prefer taller men, as it just feels more comfortable standing next to them, but I have learned as I've matured that a GOOD man is so much more important and comfortable than my ego and what society thinks.

Ok...I'm new to this site and that was my first post to the first topic I opened and read.
Now, I have since scrolled through many of the other topics, and see my post was not appropriate.

I see that these forums are more for quick, mostly one-liners and venting, trolling, or just fun, comical banter. I will take my intellectual long-winded debates to another site, and only post with sarcastic, hopefully witty, remarks in the future.

And height is not your problem, something else is.
If you have not dated any of those type of women & they live near you... move.

Isn't it like small dogs? They yap all day long, tend to bite and stuff, they never seem to listen, just yap yap yap ... whereas bigger dogs generally are far less hassle.
And really short women? They're usually lot snappier than taller ones. Most of them are bleeping biotches ...
