I usually date men that are around 5ft 10" to 6ft. I have dated shorter and taller. I would like to be with a man who I feel can protect me. My sister is a foot taller than me and she always kind of looked out for me. Well, I just want a man who is on my side and thinks I am an equal but can also be my protector.

And then If I say I'm after a 4 foot tall girl for instance, so maybe she feels 'protected', and I feel like a 'big man', then most females that short are under age or way too young, making me creepish, especially at 50 yo.

It seems that so far men aren't really too fussed about any height difference, but women are more so. For fashion, protection, security, want, and probably genetics.

Tall or short is not an issue with me in my attraction,
my issues are:
Is she really comfortable with the difference, or likely to bail.
And a practical concern, could I carry or drag her to safety in a disaster.
At 60Kg after Xmass dinner, I'm no Charles Atlas or Arnie, (probably part of the problem also), so smaller thinner women are my ideal; exactly the ones snapped up by everyone else. And women closer to my old age tend to get bigger, and less able, so I need a younger woman too. It just gets more unlikely.
