as for the "greedy" contractors. what would you charge to work in a war zone? id charge xtra for sure.

i would define winning as: every day we are still in country we win. leaving equals loosing.( thats how the enemy sees it anyway. what will history say of us? we came, we stayed a few years and we left? or they went, and stayed until the last enemy was hung, and still stayed and added a star on the flag, took thier oily virgins and built night clubs in the old palaces.

With as many Iraqis unemployed as there are and our superior intellect and morality you would think someone would figure how to employ them to do the work so they reaped the benefits! Cheap labor is good for us here, why not there! Hell, one of them might even teach you how to construct a dome on a mosque Rambill!

i dont know about iraquis, but in my line of work you just cant train the natives to do the work.( as a rule) It will take you six months to do a three week job if you try. BEEN THERE, THOUGH NOT IN THAT COUNTRY. The biggest advantage we have over them is an efficient system of operation and trained personnell. .... Time being the bigger factory than cost.....
