hello I'm angel, there's been a question that has always bugged me and I've always ask myself. is that why do girls nowadays want guys that treat them bad cheat on them hits them makes them sad doesnt appreciate them and plays around with there emotions and feelings and everything but yet that's what a girl really wants and when they have a nice guy right in front of them they dont want him they don't even take an interest in getting to know him that has always bothered me and I've always ask myself why why is that why does a girl prefer a douche over a guy thats going to treat her like a princess I real gentleman... i understand the whole "rebel and bad boy" crap... but still doesnt answer my question... i know the saying good guys finish last and its true so very true... sometimes i feel like giving up and being a total douche maybe girls would find me more interesting... so please if u have and answer help me out...

Maybe you need to work on your taste in women, not all women are interested in jerks, just like all men aren't interested in sluts.

Women don't want men like that at all, what your describing is an abusive relationship where the woman is either too scared too leave or thinks she can't leave either way she should leave and as soon as possible

Just be there is my advice she will need you in the long run for protection if nothing else

@ Paintecards01.... Trust me ive tried different taste of women, different types, different religions, different personalities, different ethnicities, different backgrounds, and yet they all turn out to be the same which is sad and funny at the same time basically ironic.

Because those guys are tall, dark, handsome, wealthy, and are easy to manipulate for the first few months. They don't care about personality, they care about cosmetics, money and power. They cry on the shoulder of a nice guy after a douche hurts them and so they can get their confidence/vanity back and go pick up another douche...

The term "douch" is rather subjective. I remember when I was quite young wondering why girls were interested in douches instead of me. Then I realised that I was actually being a bit of a douch myself and I was acting like an entitled jerk that thought that he deserved to be getting women because I was better than those other douchbags.

@ 4evababy... i know what you mean, but what im talking about is basically leaving the abusive relationship scenario out. Girls still would rather have a guy like that and then they go find a shoulder to cry on from a nice guy like me. Ive seen girls with the option to leave, break it off, end their relationship, and walk away, but still stay. Why is that? Im a smart guy and capable of figuring things out but this has me stumped. I understand that most girls wont leave becuz they "love" who they're with, but dont they understand that "love" is a mutual thing (50-50), not one sided or includes fists, getting cheated on, hurt, put down, and used... that is the truth and its a sad truth

@ TwatStrat... yea it is but at the same time douche describes both sides. I myself was like that at some point (without ever hitting or laying my hands on a girl. My parents taught me better than that) but then changed. And through out my years of observation i noticed what girls go for now-a-days. What im trying to say is that the new Definition of "Douche" in a girls point of view is "oh he's a nice guy, he'll change, he loves me, give him a chance"... funny

Well, you are better off without a woman that's hung up on some other guy anyway. If she cries on your shoulder she's looking for a friend and not a boyfriend replacement.

You don't need to tell me about women that have been in abusive relationships. I've met them and the problem seems to be that they aren't emotionally available. They may say that they're looking for a nice guy but if they have trust issues they most likely aren't going to want anything serious and hence, they will back away from a "nice guy", with all of his good intentions, or they will just mess you around and dump you when things start to get serious between you.

Thank you for asking this question. I don't get it either, if all women are *******, hoes, users, liars and gold-diggers, why do they even bother? If I hated men as much as some of the men on here seem to hate women, there's no way in hell I'd be on a dating site, even if I was just looking for friends. Makes no sense....

All women are definitely not the same. If things seem that way, perhaps it's you. Figure out where you're going wrong and start looking for different women than you normally date.

All men don't start out as douches. They start out as loving and caring and fun. Even if there is no money involved INDIGNUS. Sometimes the guy changes into someone that doesn't necessarily reflect who he once was but the girl loves him still so she stays. It's not just men that change. It's women too. Everyone deserves love no matter how mean lol

Maybe it's just that men and women have different ideas about what counts as douchbaggery. Personally, I see women all the time that are all over guys that I think are pricks. I don't always draw the conclusion that they are pricks because they treat women badly. I just happen to think that most guys are pricks.
