Another step closer to finishing this one. At least got the branch out of the way, wasn't sure about doing it, but I do think it adds to it

Love the branch and the blues. Brings center focus.

And yes, Fleta, that was exactly the idea :) Now I can finish off the bottom, the thingies that are supposed to be 'summoned' by her. |

As good as done, maybe a few flowers or shrubs in the foreground, not sure yet...
Added lianas to the branch, hills/mountains in the distance and of course the bubbles. |

No oilpaintings, some oldies, don't really do drawings anymore, seem to have lost the touch :/
My kids were scared of this one. Then later one someone told me "yes of course they would be, her eyes follow you wherever you go!" Checked it, and he was right ... Duality Aboriginal, lost the original :/ So I did the portrait a second time |

@ Fleta, maybe you can start again?
(angled table or board under you work?_ The aboriginal portrait comes with a story :) I'd put it up and one day two Aboriginal elders visited us - me and my Canadian roommate. First thing they saw, was the portrait, and they stood there in total utter shock. Very awkward. Turned out the man in question had past away 1 or 2 years earlier and apparently the portrait was a spitting image of him. I think I put it somewhere else after that, out of respect, and to not feel awkward about it. I lost that one when I had to go back home :( So I made this one later. Copy of my own work, lol. |

Thought it was a nice day to paint .. wrong, lol.
Started the third - and last - horse painting for my girly. Not finished of course. Somehow painting didn't work out today, but in spite of that, I'm not unhappy with the results so far... |

Stunning Crystal, have you thought about cutting off one of your ears, perhaps people will then sit up and take notice of the beauty you produce. The lady in your painting looks lonely, but at peace with herself. |

Hihi, thank you Franky!!
And no, don't fancy cutting my ear of and handing it over to some prostitute .. lol. I do love Van Gogh's work though. The man may have been weird, maybe even a total fruitcake, but you can feel the passion and emotion in his work. |

I remember seeing the Empty chair he painted, it was Gaughan's chair. The painting of the chair just filled this huge canvas and it was so profound. I saw it in the National gallery in London, it was next to Sunflowers but the empty chair just blew my mind. After that I read a lot about Vincent and if he was around today he would have been diagnosed with Epilepsy, a rare form of it mind you. So he was ill rather than mad, but back then people just didn't know. |
