For me it isnt but it depends upon their status of life,,,, with their child/ren it is a big"AWKWARD" situation....for my opinion only.... Let me know yours I am pragmatic when it comes to age and dating. I don't expect a woman who is more than 20 years younger than me to be happy being with a man my age. Now, I wouldn't mind being wrong about this. If a woman in her 20s can be happy with a man my age, then I would not reject her because of her age. |

I would date any age, but to get intimate and close they need to be close to my age. I mean, young ladies are cute and a pleasure to look at, but realistically they're just friends to hang out with as they shouldn't want to be married to someone my age.

it matters. for a variety of reasons. Sexual attraction knows no age difference, but in relationships it does matter.

I can't even make sense of this question "do age does matter"! Sly It's probably a "young peoples" thing. j.k. Or a dumb peoples thing. Maybe I'm just lucky because young, middle age, or old, I don't know people who talk so stupid let alone would ever post on the world wide internet showing everyone how stupid they are. Even if English is not their first language one can take the time to search for the correct way to properly string a four word question. Sly |

Win, your doing fine. I think sometimes folks forget that people here come from all kinds of backgrounds and languages.
This question comes up a lot and every time it tells me something about people and their walk of life, or should I say circle of life. I find age to make no difference what so ever. In fact a friend of mine and I were shopping yesterday and after she saw me get talked to by some ladies she said "I can see why you usually have younger girlfriends". I have always been attracted to women out side of the age box. There are many older women that fit this I'm sure but there are also even more women who seem (to me anyway) to live in a time warp. A particular age bracket in their minds. This is something I have never done and doubt if I would feel comfortable stopping my growth as a life explorer. My friend also (she's 63 BTW) told me that I'm not the kind of guy who needs large amounts of baggage. My life moves pretty fast and slowing down for long "trying to figure you out" sessions don't really fit me according to her. I'm more of a lets get past any bull and get to the exploring life type of guy. I have friends who live both ways and it's funny to me when I want to do a spur of the momment thing and ask folks to go with me. The people with baggage come up with excuses galore on the "responsable things they need to (but never get around to) do. Then I have other friends that are right there at the momment ready to write a new chapter and they figure out a way to fit their responsibilities in to a package that works instead of baggage that never leaves the port. |

Let me know yours Age difference does matter to some and not to others. When I find a mutual attraction with someone the age difference is irrelevant, it is the person that I am attracted to. To restrict by age the type of person you are looking for, is not something I would do. However, I would never approach a lady who specifies an age range in her profile. |

Thanks mg but you know i realized that maybe i shouldn't post this topic. Now i'm ashamed. Not that i blame someone here but my insecurities kicked in again. You seem like an open women and it's good to exercise our shyness or insecurities. To be honest exposing them makes you all the more attractive. I'm sure the more people get to know you here the more they will see that you are doing a great job of communicating. welcome to mingle, and I hope to see you on even more threads |
