How do you store all of these cloths in your truck?...I am asking because another person I know who lives in his truck says having a nice wardrobe is complicated when you live that way due to limited storage, laundry needs, etc....He said when he needed to look nice, which was seldom, he would just buy something new....A disposable wardrobe if you will....Kind of like paper plates, use em and toss em....So you have room for a GQ type wardrobe in the sleeper compartment of your rig???? I don't ever NEED to look good on the road. So a polo and chinos with driving mocs and a denim jacket is about as good as it gets. I can pack two weeks worth of clothes in my suite case. I take two pair of shoes (in case one gets wet). That's about it on the road. The oxford shirts and such are for when I'm going out at home. I have another bag for dirty laundry. Pack?.....Where do you store the stuff you pack??? I thought you said you lived in your truck..... |

Pack?.....Where do you store the stuff you pack??? I thought you said you lived in your truck..... I'll be moving back into a truck this Monday. This is the kind of truck I'll be moving into. There's plenty of space for two people and everything they need for about two weeks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTiIHQ83ifw |

Sometimes clothes can be misunderstood [Yeah I know. Weird. Yeah. Judge.] lol. If I walked down the street wearing a cap, jeans, t-shirt. I'd get all these trashy comments thrown at me. Yet if I dress smartly, then oh, suddenly they forget what they said to me. Also, they seem to respect me more. Wear what the hell you want. If we all wore the same stuff, we'd end up like copycats. If you want to stand out from the crowd, then do.

Hmmmmm. I prefer wearing knee-length dresses, to just jeans and a T-Shirt. Mainly. I don't bother caring about what others wear. It's their choice. Who am i to be all judgemental? I hate how others get labelled insulting names because of the way they choose to dress. There will always be people trying to pressure you into wearing this or that. What do YOU want yourself to wear? I can't stand people labelling others. If you won't stand up for yourself, not sure who else will. We are not all the same.

she looks wayyyyyyyyyy happier in the jeans and sweatshirt. Yeah; I agree. She looks more natural dressed that way and I would be more inclined to approach her dressed that way than in the dress. She seems more down to earth. |

Okay, how about this? http://www.dominiquesboutiques.com/makeover-my-mom-joyce-before-and-after590do090710.jpg Or this? http://www.blogcdn.com/main.stylelist.com/media/2010/04/shannon-mission-makeover-before-after-590sd04272010.jpg Or this? http://www.blogcdn.com/main.stylelist.com/media/2010/07/makeover-my-mom-carmen-before-and-after590do072210.jpg I'm just trying to help. I made myself over in my early 40 and have enjoyed the benefits for several years now. If none of you want to try something new and prefer staying in your safe, anonymous place I wish you the best. Do you seriously think our clothes make us anonymous? Do you know I get more attention in my my workout/cycling gear than I would in a dress suit, gown, or even my uniform? People find me much more approachable and easier to talk to. I suppose if I am going for a job interview; yes I would dress up in a suit but for everyday walking around, shorts, t-shirts, sweats do not take away from who I am and people do take me seriously. I am confident whether I wear a uniform or workout gear and people recognize it. |

I want to come and go freely and just "blend" into the "woodworks."...I don't want any "spotlights" on me. I enjoy being private..I don't want to be "singled-out." I don't want to be the center of attention!
I have no doubt in your confidence. However, this is about self esteem. Most any look can be dressed up or down with very little effort. But, when strangers look at you, when they stop you on the street and say "wow, you look great." That's how you know you've found your look. When I'm dressed really well, women sometimes forget themselves and openly stare at me with wide eyes and gaping mouths. It used to give me the creeps. But now, the exhibitionist in me loves it. Shorts, T shirts and jeans are all fine. It's not about what you wear, it's about how it fits and the color or print. But, the only thing I can think of worse than a sweatshirt is a Xmas sweater. |

I don't want to be "bothered" when I go out. I'm not out to "impress" anyone or draw attention to myself...Normally I go out to accomplish specific goals. (Shop, go to the bank or post office etc.)...I don't want to look like something the cat "drug-in." (Disheveled, smelly, etc.).. But I don't view life as a "sock hop" or a "beauty contest" either...Or a "cattle calling" or "state fair" where I'm out to win "blue ribbons" etc...I'm not a politician trying to win votes. And I'm not trying to be "discovered" by a Hollywood producer...I don't want to "attract" a new mate. Or "win over" gobs of new friends...I go out for specific reasons. (To take care of "my business.") And I leave it at that...I'm friendly if I run into people I know. And polite to strangers. (If they are friendly and non-threatening.)...But I don't dress to "impress." And I don't crave or need (or want) attention from everyone who happens to cross my path.

I understand wanting to be anonymous sometimes. But, I also understand the desire to stand out, to turn heads when you enter a room and to make a big splash. And that's the great thing about different outfits. You have options.

And that's the great thing about different outfits. You have options. I think its more that you want people to turn heads when you enter a room more than any of us. If that is what you are going for; then I say go for it. Me, I just don't care one way or another and have no desire to stand out. Why would I want to turn heads? I would gain nothing from it one way or the other; so why would I put the extra effort into dressing up? Like Greeneyes says; I am not out to impress anyone; just want to be myself. |

Its a nice feeling to have people looking at you in that way. At least it is for me. Although being noticed by that special someone feels even better. Maybe its a leo thing lol

Actually; for me it wouldn't matter as guys say eeeewww anyways when they see me which is fine because I don't date anyways. |
