..That Princess Lea must have done some unspeakable act to the director or casting agent to get the part away from you. Actually, the costume called for someone flat-chested :-) |

Yes, I know. You gave up everything to be with the woman you love. A real jerk. Anyway, I have seen a couple of good pics of you at work over the years. For those of you who are retired, what are you retired from? What do you do with your time now that you're retired? |

I've worked as a pharmacy tech, office manager in a dental office (also developed xrays and poured models for dentures) and was a medical assistant for a long time.. I took patients vitals, prepped patients and assisted the dr. for procedures, gave injections, made pharmacy calls, tested for TB, and assisted the dr on rounds at the hospital... I'm also a trained phlebotomist(taking someone's blood). Retired since 2000, I pretty much do what I want when I want...

Before I broke, I worked for the US Postal Service as a Mail Processor.... fancy words for "I ran a machine that read, sprayed a barcode on and sorted mail by zip code."
In the picture behind the two funny looking people is one of the (smaller) machines I worked on. |

Your assignment, should you choose to accept, is to tell us a bit about your job and post a picture of you and/or your work environment. Don't just give us your job title. Tell us a bit about what your job is and what you do during work hours. Okay, go! I work as a sales associate for a large retail chain. I also have my own business where I sell ecommerce, website services, and do affiliate marketing (both recruiting members and selling products). Basically, I help people find what they're looking for and help them with their retail and online business needs. |

I'm no expert, but I don't think those are really pictures of you. Not pictures of me of course. Those are real pictures of my work environments! Those are representative photos of other people doing the stuff I have done and still do. I still teach tennis, still go to the lab, still calculate, still invest, invent and startup. I don't drive the forklift anymore...but I can still drive one and am not bad driving backwards uphill and never drop valuables while parallel parking like a beast... |

..That Princess Lea must have done some unspeakable act to the director or casting agent to get the part away from you. Actually, the costume called for someone flat-chested :-) Yeah, I heard something that the funding was provided by the Jehova's witnessess, or some Babtist church, and they stipulated very adamantly, "no sexy scenes". That's why Lea looked like an inter-galactic nun. However, when the call is out for "Lea Does The Andromeda Galaxy" you should go to the try-outs. |

I am working for a telecommunications company on a big migration project, dealing with orders from sales teams. No picture to show, as I work at home and no one needs to see a picture of a computer.

I love the girl who comes in and does all that my doctor's office. She's a sweetheart. Being a good phlebotomist is not easy. I have blood taken so frequently that I know who the good ones are and I actually ask for them now. I see the bad ones and I start to get dizzy and faint just thinking about them. No joke. |

Sorry Ruth; I am just a Receptionist and its the most boring job I have ever done. My private life is much more fulfilling and interesting. Never say you are "just" anything. The receptionist anywhere is one of the most important people in any company as far as I am concerned. They can make or break your day when you're trying to do business somewhere. Although, I do know how boring it can be at times as I have worked as a receptionist. You need to get a picture of yourself at your desk and show us. |

In the picture behind the two funny looking people is one of the (smaller) machines I worked on. Now THIS is what I'm talking about!! GREAT picture Eileen! (For the record, Eileen now knits the most beautiful hat and scarf sets and she's available for hire if you're in the market) |
