Did you remember to advertise it on the military bulliten boards?
If you are going to have someone come look at it do it in front of a police station or casina where theri are working security cameras for your saftey. And have a witness there. If someone trys to say you are soliciting or cheat them to get you to sell the car cheap it is going to cost you a lot in lawyers to protect yourself Also listing it in the school newspaper for a graduation car is a good way to get a sale. Be careful about accepting any thing but a Postal money order . Here in California you are likely to get several bogus (conterfit) bills if you accept cash. Might want to check your states DMV laws. Some states if you don't sell a car with a clearly signed AS IS contract you can really get stuck if the car has problems after it changes hands if the value is over a $1,000. If a car has a service record and been detailed it will sell for more. and quicker. Just make sure you don't give them a full tank of gas because they are lible to drive off just to siffion the gas/ Women's shelter's sometimes have cash buyers. If you belong to a credit Union sometimes you can list the car on their site for pre approved credit buyers. Good Luck. |

Well, you can always donate it to charity, but you won't get much, if any money.
Is there a cash for clunkers or something like that in your area? You may want to check into something like that, see if they'll give you a fair offer. I doubt you'll get much from them, but can't hurt to check it out. |

BE warry of Postal Money orders as well. I work from home and had several come to me that were counterfit. However you can call the number and they can tell you within a few minutes if the moneyorders are valid.. (I say a few minutes, but in reality the wait time is like 20 min.) just a suggestion.

Try not to worry about it. Things always have a way of working themselves out when we do our best. @>-->----
