"We are not going to do things on your terms" ...wtf does that mean? It means we're only watching the movies I like. You're not into rom-coms? That's it...I've HAD it with you.

I try to. No response back. What do you think it means? That he wants things done on his terms. Context? Sheesh. It means you have to put your negotiators cap on and discover what mutual terms would amount to and unless there is an accord, you could tell him to toss off. Women want men to take charge in most cases on the first date so you can't fault a guy for stating he intends to proceed with his agenda but maybe a bit more tact was in order. Simple concepts any guy can retrieve online these days.

"We are not going to do things on your terms" ...wtf does that mean? When I say something like that.... Wait a minute, I'd never say anything like that unless it was some kind of business deal... and even then it wouldn't be appropriate. And besides, how bad could "your" terms actually be???

Sure, its brutally toolish of him of say. And quite frankly I've gotten over it. There is zero tact in a direct statement. They just are. I know what it means now.
