Those who promote and enjoy stories such as this one are the same who would be out with their guns if anyone were to burn their holy bible.

You asked to produce examples of cases that had happened.

I thought you threw in the towel..

I've missed my daily dose of anti american conspiracy threads..

We are a nation of hostile hypocrites....it's time to take a good hard look in our mirrors!

List some examples of this happening..

I want to know when people amassed in the streets with weapons after a bible was burned..

List examples of hostility towards other nations???

Pffft. Read these threads on a daily basis!

So there are no examples of people in this country amassing in the streets brandishing weapons in protest of someone burning a bible..

That is what I thought.

Well you thought whatever you wanted to think...

I could give a rats *** if you disagree with me as
far as this country being hostile towards others.
The truth is out.
The world already knows.
Doesn't matter what either of us thinks.

I typically disagree with comments that are made up, with nothing factual to support the claim.

You keep changing the subject..

So let me post your comment that I took issue with just to be clear..

Those who promote and enjoy stories such as this one are the same who would be out with their guns if anyone were to burn their holy bible.

I guess 'would' would be the key word here.

I suppose I could post links of christians praying for the death of the president, or blowing up abortion clinics, or killing abortion doctors, to make a point of the possibility of radical christians...in comparison to radical muslims....
but I can't find my glasses and it gives me a headache to surf the net without them.
This conversation is hardly worth getting a headache over.

There really is no comparison between the two, so I guess we should just agree to disagree and move on..

Hate to bust your bubble but Christians don't take up arms and go killin an maimin cause a bible got burned! People who don't know how to behave do these things. If I buy a Koran its mine, I bought therefore I own it and if I want to burn that's my decision.

If I saw Korans burning I would quickly put out them out using a towel to smother the flames so as little damage as possible was done to them.

Would the muslim radical be wearing that towel while putting out the fire?

It was a book that was burned. Our country has bent over backwards appologizing to the Afghan people for the way the books were destroyed. That should be it done over with. But no these peace loving Muslims go out to the street and protest, kill 2 US soldiers over this. I ask those of you who condone this voilence over books being burned, should citizens of the US go crazy and kill o er the US flag being burned?

If a vastly more powerful invading force occupies your country for years and kills of thousands of your people and then stamps down on your right to free speech for example, how far would you go to get your right to free speech back? or would you simply do nothing and take it?

every culture holds something important that might not neccesarily be important to other cultures, but it must be respected just the same, especially if you are occupying the country of said culture
Free Speech in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan under the Taliban?

Are you kidding us?

totally missed my point.
1, the koran is more important to muslims in their faith than the bible is to christians. the koran itself is sacred to muslims, while to christians the book is not as important as the message within.

2, most afghans are illiterate and uneducated, one of the downsides of which is an inability to accept attacks on their belief from opposing points of view (some which never happens on this thread, i might add)

3, say hypothetically america was invaded and occupied for 10 years by a foreign power, during which time americans suffered thousands of deaths and chaos. and then after all that the invaders then attack something most americans hold very important, free speech for example. would most americans simply accept an attack on their right to free speech at the hands of occupiers or would some get a little angry and start causing some ruckuss to show how angry they are?

If there were an Afghan military base in our country burning bibles, it wouldn't be pretty.

The reaction is as it should be.
